Yes, bring back cele DD ele and watch it make no difference to PvP anyway On a more serious note, there are people who actually want balance and then people who, when they die, cry out that it's not them who need to improve, but the class is just too strong and cry out for nerfs, this post is just silly as it wasn't weavers deciding how to balance Mirage and generally the majority of the community doesn't agree with how Anet dealt with Mirage (I say majority because there will be a few people silently happy about the nerfs to mirage). I have nothing else to say to this post seeing as it's not about balance but to just butcher a class because your still salty about Mirage nerfs

  5. If you go by dT then the normal setup is Alac Ren, Hfb, BS, Slb and Weaver But frankly Dh,cFB,Holo can dish out tons of damage too with Dh being a more popular choice with pugs compared to Weaver in my experience

  10. probably not something anet are prepared to put time into tbh, I don't think its a good idea because then this just opens the door for every other boon and condi countering each other aswell as potentially making classes worse based on what condi and boons they have access too

  14. I just find it funny how people think the next balance patch will fix all of the problems where it will just create other problems, for me.. there is no point to talk about balance, just move to whatever class is best for whatever game mode you play

In terms of PvE, Open world combat you can play any.. though Necro is easier to play than Ele, Instanced content you will probably have more value with Elementalist elite specs over Necro although Necro is used to some degree, Necro is better in PvP and in WvW Both I feel struggle nowadays but Scourge and Weaver are Okay. Reaper and Tempest are not good, but it depends on what type of gameplay you want in WvW, Large scale or Small scale
