  1. theres really lots of "bubbles" on these screens, so probably will be the mark of Water Dragon presence.
  2. Toypocalipse is addictive if u like this mode.
  3. the waepons are ugly, and invest 2 legends worth gold to complete it? lolz.
  4. WvW is very relax,,, u just started it wrong(roaming) roaming(solo fights) in wvw is almost for experienced players, avoid duels, this is toxic per nature, and here in forums dont mind with roamers in forum, they are almost over-passionate with this gamestyle and think this is best thing on the world. just figure out was best timezone to try zerging,, wvw is all about timezone and zerging, my serve is completely dead on some dayhours and others timezones have lots of guilds and people running. But if u server is dead anyway, try pay attention to scouts alerts on chat, people scouting always call help for stuff. so is here where u try engage.
  5. damn that unfair, just when im close to completing my Exordium,
  6. u need craft infusion, its relatively cheap. Its this way because Infusions and Ascedend Gear was not in the first versions of the game, they come later, so the "base" of the game is based all on exotic equipment, this way create option for those use only exotic(even being unwise use exotic trinkets with expensive jewels(cosmetic) because they cant be removed).

Only spend karma on presents if you intend to open them for that extra oomph. But even then, just do the dailies, WvW reward track and activities and you'll get both karma and presents. > > In the end, looks like buying presents with karma to sell isn't particularly useful. You're probably better off spending your karma on something else. i checked today, yeah with price increase my karma will result only on 30g,, i invested on cloth pack(on vendor just on side of gift vendor) thats is ulimited, was like 2500 + cloths packs, im sitting on tons of materials.
  8. > @"EdwinLi.1284" said: > If anything out of how technology and strategies advance in GW world, it is a combination of Magic and Technology due to how both sides have means to counter each other to a point both magic and technology remain equally relevent. This leads to dependency on melee weapons still due to the counters towards range weapons that force people into depending on melee weapons. Nowadays it is convenient for the narrative, because long-distance artillery wars are tedious, it happens a lot in small countries, they spend weeks setting fire to each other, but due to the little training of the infantry / armored forces, they don't make much progress. In that respect, the development on DrizzleWood Coast resembles some real wars like the Korean War. The recommended tactic to use against the enemy's superior artillery is to proceed to melee combat. That's what we do at events where we advance to WolfBridge and destroy Dominion's heavy artillery. The authors seem to have studied well, we use infiltration and other tactics used in real life.

So basically the Queen stance is clear: se have interesting in charr end the conflict. basically the same argument Legions used to help her in Lake Doric.
  10. i try imagine that explosive power of most 'advanced' stuff on tyria are still not enough. Also theres lot of magical implicit stuff too, to this could explain tecnologically less advanced enemies still be resistant to weapons. something I find consistent in the lore is a matter of energy, the bigger weapons seem to require a lot of energy, and the Tyrians apparently have not developed very efficient energy techniques yet. So basically whenever there are "big cannons" there is an event where players need to get them to work.
  11. > @"Supreme.3164" said: > The idea itself that you should have always a "fair" fight in a MMO is what has brought us here, the idea itself that a MMO should be treated like a PvP game...it's again: insane. **MMO are all about collaboration between professions/jobs to reach a common goal not for you to have a glorius 1v1**. I warned you about this many years ago.

  13. By far Mouth of Mordremoth. Is a very fairly balanced meta, also for the first time(i believe) they proper modeled a "big dragon" fight without rely just on tipical "fight his feet" fight. I didnt played the LS1, and I suspect the weight of "nostalgia"on it.

  15. Annoying not "dificcult", the aggro is excessive, im a WvW and Pvper its doesnt mean i want play piano everytime i go to pve.
  16. im lost, wheres the bow is atm? i replayed IBS sometimes, but never payed attention to the bow status.
  17. if u are really allergic to PVE and like combat, must play PVP seasons so,, wvw is really the least profitable game mode............... im low skill Pvper, if consider yourself skilled u can even try tournaments. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/PvP_League

  19. buy **badge of tribute** and sold it on TP, god u have 160000? i used 4000 its give to me 14g, so basically u will get near ~1400g https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Badge_of_Tribute
  20. a really good look armor is that really need, not that 3tier look that they throw at us. first time i grinded on pvp was for ascension, i ended up liking the game mode, and played it for 2 years. theres the neverwinter pvp armors, the model inst good because the game is older, but at time its worth the grind. theres 10+ pvp armors. https://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Collection/Epic_PVP_Equipment_(Great_Weapon_Fighter)
  21. just watch guild recruiters that ads raid training. most pve focused guilds do this. u can farm ascended from pve, just in 30 days or less. try make 10~30 gold day. the real raid barrier is spare time, if u dont have time to farm gold, probably will not have time to training, must have 2hrs spare per day.

  24. i dont have much preferences, just hope more "thematic" and lore wise. even after hot and pof, i had feel that specs is just a pure randoness imagination disconnected from the tyria world.
  25. completely agreed with OP. for those who did not understand the point: female norms look like Elf Goddesses, while male norms are deformed, not only that, their run animations is awkwardly, which is incompatible with a race that define itself "hunters". the only reason to play male norm to me, is because is the most close to balthazar model/size, thanks the outfit hide most of the stuff.
