  1. nothing against her, she did an excellent job within her scope. but the role of community manager is quite useless these days. I prefer the way it is today, less talkative, more content. since the team reform, the number of resolved QOL changes has increased dramatically.
  2. > @"Ayrilana.1396" said: > Since you said you wanted to optimize your gold making routine then I assume that you’re looking to make the most gold within the amount of time that you’re playing? If that’s the case then it’s pretty much farming Dragonfall and/or Drizzlewood. There are people/guilds who track these sort of things so there may actually be other activities which produce high gold/hour. I vaguely remember something about a forged farm. > > I don’t farm for my gold in this game or at least not in the typical sense that most players do. humm to make clear, the post is about u have some spare time, but not enough to a complete run of drizzlewood or other "map farm". so is about easy gathering, or profitable "daily crafting".
  3. @"HnRkLnXqZ.1870" amazing guide... i wonder why so many quartz farm? anything interesting to craft with it? EDIT: i checked this seems interesting use of it: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sheet_of_Charged_Ambrite
  4. After a season they leave 1 or 2 episodes free to player "feel the taste" and buy the rest, thats way i bought ls2 lol.

If the server was low populated, it would have been linked with one of a higher populace by now. > 2. When the map feels empty to you, switch to a different map. It's nearly impossible that none will have squads from your server on them, unless it's at a time where people are usually at work. > 3. Use map chat to find public squads. Ask your squad or in team chat for your server's TS/Discord IP, then join and be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy the experience! > 4. Look up common WvW builds that suit the current meta. It can't hurt to go in better prepared. > 5. And last, but not least: if there is a lot of nonsense going on in team chat, simply deactivate it for the time being. Each server has a few trolls, and that's exactly where you will find them. Alternatively, and for the sake of future communication, block those specific players. Most WvW players aren't like that, these players aren't representative for the game mode. (If you want to experience real toxicity, try a few games of PvP...) Also he must try different hour, at begin i always think wvw was empty, im on SoS, latter i discovered that SoS is strong at "oceanic" timezone. hes probably dont know about reset too.

  7. destroyers are by far the most boring enemies,,
  8. i guess theres some luminous armor pieces locked behind ls2 history too.
  9. I never understood the hype around the destiny edge, to me, it seems relevant only to those who read the books or did the dungeons(are they in the dungeons?)

But it's pretty subtle, the worn heavy armour can be disguised with dye and so many skins are asymmetric that I'm not sure how noticeable rough edges are. I don't think there's anything like that for light armour. > > It would be nice to have 1 armour set for each weight which looks noticeably damaged, for role-play or themed characters. I don't think it needs a lot because I doubt there's much demand for it, but it would be nice to have the option. for heavies theres the council guard which texture have some "dust" on it., https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Council_Guard_armor

Forcing players who play IceBrood Saga to buy both LS3 and LS4 to play all the DRMs, I don't think the devs have ever done anything like that before. > > There is nothing suggesting you will have to buy LWS3 and 4 to play all the DRMs. The DRMs are instances one access from the EoTN. Only thing you will need is the Champions episode. > > Two of the DRMs Mastery Points are located in Lake Doric and Thunderhead Peaks which are exclusive maps. Like I said, maybe they'll allow you to enter in the instance only, but I'm not sure that's possible on the current engine design. > > It was built specifically to lock players out of those maps if they don't own the content, hence teleport scrolls. The DRM's are copy/paste of a existing map, not a acess to old maps, that why theres some terrain modifications(like in the asura map) if u notice. Basically they create a "fractal" like utilizing assets from older maps.

And considering what's done to female icebrood, the Jormag worshipping cult isn't very female friendly. yes his voice seemed to me more like a man trying be "seductive" than a girl voice.
  13. The theory is cool, but I'm sorry for ruining the party: - Unfortunately the current direction of the lore is to throw the Gods related stuff under the rug. POF was a nail in the coffin. LS4 had near 0 human god related stuff aside small map achievs. Plots that could be "lifted" but look completely dead atm.: - Balthazar use of Lyssa mirror, we must accept that he took the mirror at Sirens Landing. - Balthazar don't mentioning Lyssa when cursing gods. - The last POF battle and meta were in Vabbi, a place where Lyssa was worshiped and full of temples of her there. > @"HotDelirium.7984" said: > Honestly, the reveal of Balth was one of the coolest moments in GW2 history so if they somehow reintroduce the human Gods i.e. they come back or we go to them it could save this entire franchise in my conspiracy theory opinion allegedly. Agreed. Elder Dragons is becoming crazily boring.
  14. the actual content is too huge, players that play at slow pace like me will probably take 1~2 years to finish stuff from ls2 to icebrood saga. i finished ls3 achieves on lockdowns. and im still to complete the PoF elite weapons collections. 1~2 yers ago the players was worried about lack of content, now im worried about not catching up,,, for example im still to finish skycale collection.
  15. i would prefer spend weekend on drizzlewood coast than this.
  16. > @"Genesis.8572" said: > This entire season has killed a LOT of my enthusiasm for this game. The map mechanics are not particularly fun, a lot of repetitive grind, and neither has the lore direction been particularly great. for me the error started when taking the Gods out of the scene in POF with this weird "we prefer to run away" thing. Elder Dragons is by far a very uniteresting villains.
  17. > @"Rihar.3465" said: >I was surprised how Commander's allies (even Taimi) rushed into the fight claiming Primodrus as a threat #1, despite of all madness (Drakkar, Icobrood corruption, Frost >Citadel and blood) its actions led to. And I believe the inner conflict will grow even further. why surprised? primordus is straight atacking all tyria.
  18. By far the most rushed content in the game. I do not buy this story that they are committed to expansion, if its the case, it was better to delay the expansion. once i complete the history, i would prefer continue farm the Drizzlewood for gold.
  19. according to NPC dialogues, especially the order of shadows, joko rules extend to many generations, so the new generations see it as normal. Some talking NPCs say they want to be awakened when they die, like their parents and grandparents did. It is also seen as a stabilizing force by some, note that the commander needed an army to fight balthazar, and the only regular army with a relevant number is joko. The writers did a great job here, they put in a lot of details, to explain the joko dictatorship it doesn't happen because "magically" all the elonians are afraid.
  20. Icebrood Saga metas are crazily length, but still fair, because they are top loot atm.
  21. the real mystery is how this will lead us to cantha... i hope the plot dont take path of just primordus move to cantha(for expansion), it will be too cheap/lazy, basically a balthazar 2.0.
