  1. I feel like it's only gotten worse.. Well of Suffering now applies twice as many vuln and has even shorter cooldown, as it wasn't bad enough with 15+ scourges in a zerg.. now your vuln goes up even twice as fast and with shades hitting you with cripple and torment, not to mention if traited Unending Corruption removing 1 boon for 3 people x 15 people say using the same ability. That's Stability removed on at least 45 people.. RIP any melee..

    From what I've seen post wise, from people on Reddit, or on the forums here. Ever since ArenaNet decided to switch over to Amazon, I've seen way more latency complaints, as well as people in one of the guilds I am in that is OCE based have higher average pings than what they used to before the switch. Sure from time to time some of those players would get lag spikes that would last for about a minute but would clear up after that. I've noticed even for me my average ping went from around 45-60 to around 70-90. While it's not a huge jump, it is enough to notice skill delay at times, especially in WvW on reset night. While it isn't the fault of ArenaNet in the lag issue other players get, I do believe there is a problem around in the Chicago region that is causing these issues. An area I investigated was http://75.149.230.190.ip-adress.com/ (this is not my IP just a Hop involved when doing a trace on one of the server IPs in game that being 34.236.159.53 ) The 75 IP for me was Hop #8, and everything from 9-16 were blank. #17 ( 54.239.110.199 ) said it had a 40% packet loss, along with #18 ( 54.239.111.93 ) at 60% Packet Loss, along with #19 ( 54.239.110.195 ) 70% Packet Loss. However Hop #20 ( 72.21.197.251 ) Only had a 2% Loss. So at least for the IP's in the range of 52.239.110.1 to 52.239.111.255 .. there might be something more serious going on that Amazon has not addressed yet, or has no clue of existing.

    I'm ok with these changes.. however..

    Maybe for Dagger, Wild Strike could get an endurance gain buff to make up for the damage loss? I mean if I'm gonna be hitting with a wet noodle, I think some sort of defensive alteration is needed.

     

    For sword, maybe perhaps, Crippling Strike could get cripple or weakness duration increase?

     

    Then you have skills like Signet of Agility, which endurance gain dropped from 100 to 50 for PvP, from the February 22, 2017 patch. Then later on became shared with WvW on the September 22, 2017 patch. Are these type of skills getting their own treatment as well?

    I normally sit at around 45 ping while in game, but recently that's been around 220-300. Seems there are issues at the Ashburn, VA location with Amazon AWS. Server hops have been coming online, then going offline constantly. I have contacted Amazon in regards to this, and they told me the AWS team would get back to me in 2 days.. by that time it could resolve itself, or perhaps not.

     

    To me it just feels like switching to Amazon servers has been nothing but problems. While the hardware and cost might be cheaper, it's sure not making anyone's experience better if they have to deal with packet loss and connection issues.

    It's like 90% a sure thing. As much work they are putting into it.. no doubt it will be active soon.

    It might make WvW more appealing if players can potentially make more gold than PvE .. you'd see way more action anyway.

As someone that spent 12 years in DAoC .. if CU is anything like DAoC in anyway in term's of RvR .. and if CU's combat is some how better than GW2 (especially if they add dodge mechanic) .. then no doubt in my mind we'll see a lot of WvW Players going to CU. At least to try it out, maybe half come back, half stay. Too soon to tell though.

     

    The thing I loved about DAoC was the fact that you needed to work with your group in terms of fights. You had to rely on your healers, certain classes for crowd control, and tanks for melee and interrupting casters (if you got hit in combat you cant cast a spell so you had to kite).

     

    However the main thing I am not a fan of is Subscription based games, but that won't stop a lot of people that are willing to pay $15 a month.

    I hope a Static reward track was one of those.. So many times I finish a reward track.. and wasted points go into another reward track I don't need because I didn't notice.

    When Playing out in WvW, and a mesmer jumps me, I don't even have enough time to respond before I'm already in downstate.

    Thief risk-reward ratio is going to be so out of wack if these changes go in. I hope the survivability aspect part of this is being looked into. The idea behind thief with autoattack chains is to apply pressure during fights, not hit with a wet noodle and pray you do enough damage to make a dent. Making Hide In Shadows a bit higher heal is a good start, but made me wonder.. Is 15% from Invigorating Precision even enough now that the Auto Attack is getting a damage nerf?

    Dog harvesting tool gets anywhere from t1-t6. However it's more likely to see t1-t5 a lot more often than t6, but it's still possible. Also this...

    As long as you can't view enemy supply count, and have to be in range of the structure the natural way.

  14. The delay set is way too long, and needs to be at least 75% less than what it is now. Having this in now makes doing some griffon adventures impossible to get gold rank on.

    I don't see what was wrong with leaving it the way it was. You couldn't gain much height from where you started at even with the ability to cancel the dive. This change was uncalled for.

     

    Also performing the wing flap, had a friend with a stop watch hit it as soon as I hit the wing flap, and it was around 1600 ms before I could pull up, so the timer is doubled than what it currently states of being 800 ms.
