Looks too small compared to S3 (i wouldn't like them to change Primordus' size, but given how they did it with Kralkatorrik, I imagine he will look smaller in a cutscene?). Who knows, maybe it's Primordus' current top Lieutenant and if Braham defeats it, he becomes the champion lol. I would like to hear Primordus' voice though if that's him.

More like a reference to the Bloodtide Coast and Jormag trying to pull a Zhaitan and deal with Lion's Arch (in their own way). Still, if we end up getting a DRM inside the Dominion, Ill be happy to know how the place looks.

With these recommendations I am leaning into Spiked Armor and Adrenal Health as traitline mechanics, namely giving ways to gain Adrenal Health that do not involve bursts and a few more ways to gain Retaliation for the damage reduction via Spiked Armor. > > Dogged March: > Gain 1 stack of Adrenal Health when you are inflicted with a movement impairing condition. In particular it would help Berserker a great deal. Not related to Adrenal Health or Retaliation, but Defy Pain needs to be fixed and this is a decent way of doing it. It is reliant on breaking a stun, and yes it could be used with Rousing Resilience to really take very little damage after a stun break, but unlike RR this has an ICD. > > > Armored Attack: > You gain 10% of your toughness as power. Gain Retaliation (5s) when you inflict weakness on a foe. Activating a stance grants 1 stack of Adrenal Health and 5s of Retaliation. 15s CD. > With this you have some decent sustain, nothing overbearing. With this change you have the option for fairly strong physical damage reduction via RR, condi mitigation via Cleansing Ire, or general sustain via Last Stand. > Im a fan of these ideas! What do you think about Cull the Weak? We had discussed this in the past, but with these ideas on the table, maybe it can become a "Weaken foes when striking with bursts skills, deal more dmg to weakened foes". Ofc we would give a necessary icd so we don't have perma weakness access. I can definitely see how weakness in the traitline can work as a "the best defense is offense" idea, but currently cull the weak doesnt promote that. Adrenal health definetely does tho and with a rework Rage Sig, I can see a lot of value out of this.
  5. Have fought you and seen you before I knew you made vids. You are pretty unkillable gg!

You could also use the elemental summon elite. I hear it makes a good tank but can also CC, heal, or deal damage. Not my style, but there should be plenty of flexibility here without giving up too much damage. > > Sorry for the late response, but I must say. That's some pretty mad good gameplay there. I can say you have peaked as an Ele (I'll never be able to play ele due to the difficulty of doing all this). Btw I also reference another video you uploaded once (I think it was you?) where you soloed the Tetrad in VB right?
  7. Warrior: the class I've played the most. My first char, my main. Playing it years now. It is sad to see warriors being restricted to 3 builds. Warriors have so much potential as "weapon masters" and yet our choices fall short. SKilled warriors do exist and they can make a build work, I'm more of an average warrior with a lot of experience from fighting. The changes (nerfs and buffs) are too many to list. But anything, anything, that would allow for more build diversity (ideally on top of the current choices). Basically, I would like to have a roamer other than Strength Magebane Spellbreaker, Core Tactics Warrior or Power Berserker (the most difficult option to roam out of the 3). Which is why I want to see reworks in Rage skills, Banners, CC skills have some of thei dmg returned to them (maybe dazes?), some minor changes to the Elites and a rather detailed research on those traits in Strength/Tactics/Discipline would be good. And of course re-purposing Arms into a more defined dmg role, Defense in an actual Defense line and Berseker is a more viable spec. Spellbreaker looks ok to me right now.
  8. Here is my guardian, who I always wanted to roleplay as a canthan, although the shrine outfit and the mount aren't exactly canthan. Her name is Mizuki (initially she had white hair, but decided to go with black and a lighter skin color for her to make sense as a canthan). I tried to make the images have a higher resolution but wasn't able to, cause I never edit images lol. So the one below may seem a bit more "warm" than the one above. Furthermore, this spot in Bitterfrost is a very beautiful spot! ![](https://i.imgur.com/pRpcrXE.jpg"") ![](https://i.imgur.com/8Ge31fG.jpg "")
  9. Imo what needs to be changed is: Headbutt: becomes daze and retains it's damage, with an increased attack speed in the animation. In competetive and especially WvW (huge space) more experienced players can easily avoid this skill. Battle Standard: as part of a banners rework, you can equip it in your back and move around getting it's effects for a long period of time with no need to stick around an area and it has a flippable skill in which the banner is destroyed (full CD) so you can rez/stomp in the area around you. Rage Signet: in absolute need of it's effect lasting longer + no cast time. Some builds rely on MMR to get out of trouble. Popping the singet right now is an invitation for a thief 1,200 range away from you to come, interrupt you and leave back, watching you die. Rampage: Rampage is ok as is imo WoD: only changes that can be requested about WoD are to increase boonrip or have the channeled variant return. I'm fine with how it functions rn.
  10. > @"Doctor.1384" said: > If you want to roam with core rev youll have a better time running trailblazer corruption retribution invocation and dwarf demon with mace staff Will definitely try it out once I get some spare armor! So far I'm having a blast with the plaguedoctor/apothecary Mallyx/Ventari combo. Took me a while and some deaths, but the team utility with ventari and the ability to use Mallyx to get right into the enemy combines 2 very nice facets of combat to me. Frontline backup and high pressure damage dealer. I can definitely see Trailblazer and Jalis giving a very unique sense to this build too though.
  11. I'm not sure if this was the case before, it's been several months since I paid attention to it, but did the latest patches change Crecia's title again in the 'Round Table' of representatives? As in, she is now the 'Acting Blood Legion Imperator', possibly hinting it's still not set in stone? In any case, I doubt anyone other than Crecia fits the role (unless if I'm forgetting some Tribune). But as far as the command of the High Iron Legion goes, I always vouched for Bhuer Goreblade to assume command. Being the leader of the Admant Guard, the elite of the Iron Legion protecting the Black Citadel. On top of that Erracus, his aide-de-camp having a specific view on Smodur's agenda sounds like a good reason for this Tribune to rise to power. As in, an 'opposition' of some sorts with no real conflict towards the late Imperator's actions, to avoid possible fracture within the Legion, especially after the war in Drizzlewood and the formation of the Dominion and the Frost Legion.
  12. I believe that the Forging Steel map with the strike mission on the tank is a pretty beautiful map with different climates. Position that somewhere next to Drizzlewood, maybe connecting to Anvil Rock or Gunnar's Hold and it will be golden. Dataminers discovered that the Eye of the North may be expanded right? If yes, I'd love for it to connect, Fireheart Rise, Frostgorge Sound and Bitterfrost Frontier. Then Gunnar's Hold being the access to Bjora and the Gate which exists in south Grothmar. Finally Anvil Rock between North Gendaran Fields, Frostgorge Sound, Snowden Drifts and maybe even Harathi Hinterlands. Would love to see destroyer-possesed Stone Summit Dwarves there! Sorry for my bad work here, but I think these regions have so much scenery to offer!! https://imgur.com/R2PXaM7 Edit: I'm begging Anet to do some better art for zone borders. Try to draw a decent mountain, or maybe add some snowy peak effect. Many map borders look ugly, like a square of hill tops around each zone.

Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy Core Rev and the only reason I run Shiro on Herald for power, is because I feel like Glint complements Shiro better than other core legends (of course I'm not a master rev to fully grasp the mindset of how Shiro with Jalis can be better). Thoughts on a Power Renegade with shortbow and kalla? should I stick to a power build or go hybrid condi?
  17. Play the class you are most confident with and don't worry, a warrior main like me reached a point of trying all the elite specs with different setups depending on the mood. Basically, eventually you will want to play every spec. I returned to wvw after 2 years last september/late august (2020), followed open tags on discord for a month, then found a wvw guild to join, learned the basics with them about raid squad composition and now I teach people how to play. Arguably the most fun thing to do is run around with your guild.

Well, less than two years back you guys did it once and ANet agreed that 2% of the player base in the forum represented the other 98% as well and over a few balance patches, handled some very devastating nerfs to anti toxin runes, Scrapper traits and even dropped their vitality by 3k. And nothing has changed over the years with ANet still having that 'all calls for nerfs are most welcomed and will be done ' attitude, you guys will succeed again. Congrats! > > > > notes to self : Avoid WvW section, there is nothing constructive here but endless calls for nerfs > > If anyone is still complaining about Conditions in 2021 when a sigil exists that cleanses 3 on a 9 second cooldown they might want to reevaluate their build. Literally one sigil is enough Cleanse to deal with most Condi builds now. And in a zerging formant it is really as simple as knowing how to position yourself- but I know that's easier said than done for an unfortunate percentage of players. Except for Warriors vs Condi Heralds. Now that's a bit challenging, no matter the amount of condi cleanses. Although I must admit, I'm seeing less condi herald/firebrand duos nowadays...
  19. Actually ig you want to have some fun, I'd argue against getting mounts before PoF (or at least before S3). HoT feels much bigger and filled with content when on foot. Iunlocked the glider around S2, as ideally you don't get spoiled of what happens next, since it's pretty self-explanatory in the story. Also there is WvW. Gathering proof of heroics can get you Hero points from HoT and PoF (and Core) without the need to visit those maps and/or get spoiled on them before doing their story. Proof of heroics can be spent in the heroic notaries vendor and rn I'm gathering them for the EoD specs. Of course you need to play WvW a bit. Get some camps, some sentries, accumulate pips and get the Proof.

Play scrapper bruh. > > It all depends on the skill sets and traitline though now doesn't it? > > Whatever the weapon set ends up being can very well be DPS viable, and the triatline may very well have a personal DPS line within it (even our core support line does that). > > I fully anticipate having both a viable DPS build and a viable support build from the new e-spec. I do not think we'll end up with a heavy armor version of Druid. You know warrior better than most warriors, so I'm happy you get my point, although I must admit I failed to fully explain it. A warrior spec can be support, but as long as it has a traitline with viable dmg traits which I can pick I'll be happy. What I am against is the idea which seems to hover around about the new espec being a specialization with an Inventions-type of approach.
  23. I have played plenty of SBP and Core (even Berserker) in a more supportive role, be it might share, boon strip, cleanses. And it gets absolutely boring after some point. How will that allow you to tag bags? How will it feel like warrior and not guardian (the heavy armored profession with plenty of support capabilities). In the end what we say here doesn't matter, but I've yet to see anyone proposing a meaningful spec focused on "support" that feels like warrior and is not just some type of support we can get by fixing core (mobile banners on the warrior, with pulsing boons when traited on top of their flat stat increase, would take care of a lot of folk who want to support as warriors). Boom, Discipline, Tactics and ANY spec and you got yourself a support. Berserker does damage well, SPellbreaker does strips well. The new specs needs something NEW for warrior, not something we already have and can buildcraft with. In any case, we are in the long waiting game now until we get info from anet.
