Then to critique a build with no idea of said build and say that's why is laughable. Just like you lack of understanding sarcasm. He or anyone can think something is annoying or the aggro range is annoying or the respawn rate is annoying or struggle in PoF and just because you say you didn't means nothing except he did and you didn't. And plz for the love of god don't spam me with whiney private emails again. You can not tell us how our experience of the game is.
  2. Yeah that's not going to happen. Those are from doing dailies which you get about 4 per year to force 4 years to complete the collection to then unlock the newer versions. Now it does take 8-10 hours to complete a reward trak but you could save pots all year and unlock all 16 when Wintersday hits so they aren't going to let us cut all that effort off. Now anet does need to update these vendors. There are minis that you can buy for 45s but need to trade 110g worth of snow diamonds for or the weekly is just a joke. I mean no one was dropping 10 cobs at 3.5g apiece for a voucher. No one is going to drop 110g or really by anything from the weekly with snow diamond prices.

  4. You mean 38/38? Think that's just a MP. The tier before usually gives the reward now so players don't feel they have to do every one. If you got the box on a diff character before and never opened and chose no armor would be unlocked. Now if this is not the case and you really didn't get it support maybe can help.
  5. Sounds like lag or desynch more then a bug. I only can relate to this in WvW on the rare occasion I chase someone and have this happen and sometimes they are sitting on their mount like a echo but the aren't really there because they lagged off or were d/c as I was chasing them.
  6. First you compare GW2 to 2 $15 a month games but lets take FF14 and it's you will play at our pace crap. FF14 is nothing but a gear grind then wait 3 months for that gear to become obsolete to gear grind again. It is also time gated af. You can only earn so much per week and get 1 or 2 pieces per week. They release everything in the same order. Beast tribe then you grind dailys then craft grind and gather grind. Not to mention the forced story to progress with hard group encounters to easily get stuck with bad luck which can prevent you from going to the next zone. Then the cutscenes where if 1 person in your group wants to watch it adds 5-10m each dungeon with you sitting in a box waiting. It's fun at first because so much to do but it is so repetitive and forced no choice which path you take. Gw2 blows right now ngl. These Drms and chopping this episode into 4 parts and depending on festivals to carry them is bad but still better then $15 FF14 and I can casually play GW2 but never will touch FF14 and that progression system again.
  7. It adds up. They let you back in but if you d/c next match you get in too but then next match you start hitting dishoner like above the game don't know if you d/c or leaving games on purpose
  8. 80 will remain max level. I do hope they add new legendary and I actually hope they add t7 mats so it's not like eso where an entire expansion is added but nothing new crafting wise. Could that then devalue the price of legendary yes gold wise but they would still remain useful as level cap wont increase

Now to say AB doesn't close maps is false. I mean at reset there are at least 6 maps made with 4 or 5 octo completion and if you stay which I do you will get the map close prompt 5 times. PoF almost max except for casino blitz few extra maps are made and yes once we do that event we all bouncing to more lucrative areas. Map closing means nothing except it's trying to funnel 2 or 3 maps w 10 players into one map with 30 players. The thing to with the HP runs. HoT has alot of pita need a bunch of players hence the calls for help vs PoF where most only need a few max and most soloable
  10. I think it's pretty simple. It's because they aren't dead. Now I don't know for sure I can contribute to capturing something while downed alone by some crazy I killed everything but got downed in the circle. But as for prevent you from taking the objective while I'm downed yes, I count because I am not dead. Downed in GW2 is not dead.

  13. No, You are at a tower. Maybe you killed guards. The bag of loot could be out of your ss because of aoe loot. Your say inventory was full. You picked up 2 items at least. Auto loot picked up the wooden chest from a player or mob w/e and the spike from the guards or maybe each guard dropped something idk. You did what I said. You can't run away and loot again as the chest would be gone. The only way is you there were multiple items on the right you grabbed one and let the spike sit there and tried to grab the spike to proc the 2nd inv full msg. Then you took your ss No you took the rare item but the chest will sit there if other items are also in that loot window allowing you to take the rare and leave the spike which I now have no doubt you did and are misleading intentionally. I can only guess scenarios but I know for sure a wooden chest didn't have only a spike in it.

  15. No I will agree the inventory full thing caused this. I bet the wooden chest had a good item and the spike on the right side of unclaimed loot. You then deposited an item to grab the good loot right clicked took some loot most likely from the chest but because the unclaimed loot widow was still opened the chest stays there for you to ss and pretend you got a spike in the chest.
  16. I don't even do the daily now. There is almost nothing to suffer through them at all. It really is hard to play knowing the next 3 episodes are just going to add more and just the next tier in masteries which is just the next tier in dragon weapons unlocking and a couple of weekly recruit factions. I swear that's all the next 4 months are and maybe they will surprise me. I don't even think 2g per mission would motivate me to play these anymore. Only way at this point is what they do with weekly strikes so you do a few for shards and 3 dailies per week for extra loot and shards to slowly unlock runic for volcanic. If they did this w drm's maybe I would do 3 a week for 3 crystals for a little extra loot and slow progress towards Volcanic
  17. Ya you got kills and almost 2 more. When I say things like you can engage and run off I am directing that at mez and thiefs in general not at you because I don't know how you play. For every 1 time a mez or thief stays to the end of the fight to die 50 of you mez and thief run off. So great you stayed but I bet there are plenty of times you sauntered off after 3 or 4 kills because of stealth and mobility. How fun is that if you on the other side. And amazingly no sentry spawned to ruin that fight for you

Last I checked, Revenant was pretty powerful with 0 stealth access. Historically, warrior has been a powerful roamer with 0 stealth access. Currently, Necro is probably the easiest pickup class to play and do well on with 0 stealth access. Fresh Air Weaver is perfectly capable of "1v3 and get kills and run off" with 0 stealth access. Plenty can engage 1 v 3 of course. Plenty of classes have strong builds and can disengage and run but the main culprits are thief and mez. Sure a war or ele can get away but a necro and rev and guard probably won't. This is about sentrys and watchtowers and how it slightly affects stealth classes and easily avoidable but somehow it's this major issue when if you are honest with yourself it almost never affects anyone other then to mark you on the map and draw someone like me to fight you. But to say that you are dying or being affected by static sentrys of course deep in opponents territory is affecting you so much it's unfair is just silly. There would be so many less fight w/o these too. I see 3 dots going nc I go. I see 20 dots at a tower you announce it otherwise these objectives are just gone and no fight at all. I can get to nc w/o being marked. I can take camp s bay w/o being marked. I can traverse the whole map w/o being marked as a reaper if I want so you guys w stealth and shit ton mobility claiming your gameplay is affected is laughable

If I don't, no. Enemies still have reveal and their own mobility skills. if they use them better than I do they deserve the kill. I am perfectly okay with that. Honestly anet just lock anyone that transferred from wsr to a link back to wsr and then now to RoF from transferring again because those guys are the real problem. Stop letting them exploit the system and lock them from transferring for like 6 months since they got 6 months of full/full stacked ruin the mode for anyone else in T1.
  22. You can't. The easiest way to earn gold is to log out of WvW and Pve. Also SoS is full so that dream gone too. WvW is have all boosts active to reward trak progress and take as many things as possible to level faster. Hit all the nodes after you take it preferably with glyph of bounty of course that is an expensive item you probably don't have. Do all that and you still make less then Pve but we play for fun not gold.

Once again, the community should really blame themselves for having so many thieves ruining their roaming experience - you guys are the one who kick thieves from zergs thus forcing them into roaming solo existence. Some thieves switched to something zerg friendly, other perfected their roaming builds and skills. There are plenty of classes and builds that can easily deal with builds BUT most people don't run them because they prefer to zerg. And then they complain about thieves. Find the error here. Again my same argument with cad it is just sentrys and the rare watchtower. It's so you thieves can't run rampant thru the entire map. You know if nothing like this there would be even more thieves hiding right in spots to jump players out of stealth right next to towers or hiding behind the arch in the camp south of bay or right before smc on enemy side for any single heading that way because there would be nothing at all to prevent it and yeah no one wants to run core necro just in case a thief shows up. There are not plenty of ways. It's not an error. It's wvw that you play as pvp 1 v 1. You thieves play it wrong not most of the players but anet doesn't give you a choice really

I also agree with the OP about sentey's needing a review for today's version of gw2 wvw. They also need to review the stealth debuff duration as it's far to low. Yeah I don't think players complain constant about thieves in pvp like we do in WvW. I think it's more you can bring a pure pvp single target build from PvP w less limitations to WvW and wreck players who aren't specced to pvp and more team orientated so you get the one shot no chance for that player in wvw but we don't see that in PvP so we qq. Idk about wow I quit at 80 w/e expac that was but eso everyone could stealth and Every class also had a real way of combating stealth not like the 8 reveals total and I only get it if i'm core necro not reaper or scourge. I don't think gw2 has it easy vs those. I do think thief is never balanced well in any game and you thieves think one - shot or a fast kill before reaction is just normal and fun gameplay and that's more the issue. The expectations of you players that gravitate towards thief.
