It's also misleading as you think it starts after boss but it's any shockwave so as reaper i was rounding up mobs and got k/d towards a shockwave so was aggravated. I would have to 100 percent pay attention and pull off alot of dps at points to get it. It's more I don't even want to do those again on CM maybe I guess. Lol the CM mode achieves is 5 times I thought it was 3 like come on anet

You can basically trade mats for 5 crystals in eotn vender and if you spend 5 you are eligible for tiered rewards. I did that on my alts

  5. The 5m timer at first needs to go. Just remove that part of the mission would be great but at least let us start after we meet reqs. I rescued like 40 dudes hoping for some hidden achieve but seem to get nothing extra after the 3 morale boosts.

  8. It's ok. The drm tho are just tanky golems for 5 man and not exactly fun just 5 man strike missions that take 20m with the 5m beginning like fs. I mean I'll do the dailys and it''ll be fast for the 16 recipes then take forever for the weapons to craft. It almost forces you to consider the 50g node which I've never bought from any episode to cut time off. Idk I did 6 reg missions and there's challenge mode so I can't imagine the hp of those golem sponges

  12. Kinda how mastery's go. I mean your suggestion would force anyone to have to buy certain episodes right away so that's even worse. If 8m is a grind then you don't play much and all those masterys you saw won't be today. Those are 20 total and w 9 extra and only earning 4 from this episode for 13 it will be way less then 8m today

A Theme park MMO. Going from one carnival ride to the next. Yeah , I doubt us going across the map on my raptor to get to an event will result in me talking to others on their raptors. Just for fun take mounts out of the equation and go walk thru lake doric or bloodstone fen and the aggro radius of white mantle or for even more great gaming exp go to pof and cut thru jacaranda or ibogas. Just walk thru them and see how fun this would make the game constanly aggroes and pulled and knocked down on the way to events.

  16. There goes the strike mission included in the meta achieves caused the decrease theory but yeah when the main reward is not the last tier less will be forced to complete everything to get it.
  17. Like a new account right now is on sale 16 bucs. That's like 2000 gems which convert to 500g maybe. After one year 240 MC plus what 480 laurels which you can trade for t6 bags so 1500 t6 mats at 20s ea and you looking at 780 g just logging in so instead buy $20 worth of gems to convert buying a new acc is better even after only 1 year doing nothing but logging in.

It's like buying character slots on sale is a better investment instead of boosters because birthday gifts overtime are cheaper to acquire then boosters

I would like it to feel dangerous/punishing and keep me on my toes. Sure man there are games like that. Full loot pvp type games. I just don't see how no wp in gw2 when I'm fighting A WB or doing an event is even something worth punishing in a pve environment. Might as well not allow rezzing to force us to WP too. Maybe you thinking WvW or something. Of course if you do play teef w all that mobility then yeah I can see how punish other classes when you can cross the map in 1/3 the time would be your opinion too. Or how teefs run and reset so their pixels don't die in a game that doesn't punish death but hey maybe you don't play teef. Any game we play is a time suck but the worst games are games that magnify the time suck with things like Darkfall full loot pvp type where you could spend 15 minutes going across half the map to then get jumped by 3 dudes who kill you take all your stuff and you go back to where you started. For some reason those games have the smallest population too. I've played them and it does add that sense of danger and it's cool but it tends to end with gankers only having other gankers left to gank and gankers are the ones who can't deal with being ganked the most so those games die fast.

I mean stare at the right of your screen if you see a bunch of loot after the boss dies you looted it and no you can't open the chests you already looted again because you auto looted them. Now if you mean like the daily chests that pop up for t4 and you see them bouncing around but can't interact to open then idk but they should never disappear and start auto going into your inventory once you got 20 or so so you shouldn't even lose loot that way even though that would be annoying with bouncy chests there all the time

Why would you want to be doing an event die and now have 2 minutes of travel from the beginning of the map. Maybe it could be like other time sucks like WoW when you had to take a wyvern and stare at the screen for 5 mins traveling or ff11 where you had to take a tele ride a choco and walk thru a map to get somewhere. Like I said putting one wp and a long travel will just force 90 percent of players to lay there dead for the entire event if they die. That's fun too

No one WP now at things like Matriarch in VB with the WP right below and a choppa up. WP's far away will surely affect the players who die as they have no choice but to lay there now for 80 percent of the event.
  23. People say every games dead. It's because eventually they will be right. Just go to any WB throughout the day or AB or TD metas etc or dumb stuff like Rebel's seclusion JP on it's daily day and see 100's pass through. GW2 main issue is so many maps and it fractures the players so when you need a event for an achieve you might have to wait till it's map is on daily rotation but except for rare PoF metas most get done quite often
  24. They tuned that down already but yeah it's difficult but not impossible. Sure if you are a solo guildless player just hoping to see it in lfg and don't find out the guilds that run it once in a while or just throw a lfg up right when it starts you will never get it done. PoF metas have never been close to as rewarding of a players time as HoT so those get skipped and need a more organized approach. At some point we managed to get the achieves and you will too.
