Other classes have reveals, higher hp, higher armor, barriers, more access to blocks/shields, invulnerability skills and other defensive skills and in gw2 even other classes have access to teleports( rangers,guards,mesmer,ele,necro, rev etc) and also stealth( ranger,mesmer,guards with trappers etc) the real issue is rogue's are just generally disliked by the players who dont play them due to their universal playstyle, which is why the rogue complaining is the same on every mmo forum. You do get that this thread was a QQ by a thief and agreed with mostly by other thieves who also are qq'ing about it right? Not to say gw2 players don't qq about thieves or everything in general.
  2. Like today cashwe character name from NA hides. We do the whole thing w 4 so you know 1s hiding. We all linger at the end nothing. The rest leave I run off one way come right back and here he comes to loot the chest. Like he hid and waited till when he thought everyone left. Fix that garbage anet. No contribute no loot simple. I block lable report but of course hes right back in another drm.
  3. A token system like the runic armor where you can buy acc bound volcanic weapons. Or more rewards or remove the 5 min time suck at the beginning. Or kick/replace afk's in public. I do the daily just for the 2 chests from the daily/kill 25 mobs just to be able to save those to unlock next masteries faster so I can play less drm's in the future

Imagine if w/e brainded spec you run,your blocks or invulns would be shut down in all those areas where youre being marked,tell me you find that fair ? While i alrdy explained what the real issue is,you ignore it and reply with nonsense. One more time, Play ze class and you will find out. And then you laughed because you never died because of marked which again makes me go why does it matter then. But hey I think it doesn't matter you can't adjust and play thief because of sentry's. You don't explain cause if I go roll a DE I will avoid sentry's or kill the sentry get marked so someone comes and then kill them. Unless you are getting surprised by randomly spawning sentry's who mark you mid fight it again is a non-issue. I did see you started a thread in 2019 so this is a core issue for you. Not your war tho so play that.

  13. I assume it was twilight and that skip we use to jump up on a ledge to then jump up on a wall. Yeah that takes a bit to learn to jump to the middle part push out a little so your next jump you don't hit your head and fall to then land on the middle thing. Easy to overshoot too. Yeah it's a way to cut a few minutes off instead of fighting/running past 30 mobs. We understand some would struggle and don't yell or get mad if you do. At least I don't.

On occasion I've faced thieves especially s/d in wvw where they out skilled me hard with positioning on infiltrator strike and evades they seemed untouchable but that's on me for not catching them in cc's at the right time and cuz most my skills are neutered (I'm usual on warrior small amount I play these days) not really that they were OP just simply better than me. No hes engaging 5 players and they all chasing him and can't kill him not he wins and kills all 5. I see it all the time near smc then if he really wants to troll you get the perma keep tapper with 8 or 9 chasing.

Anet needs to learn to ignore the whining if they want to have a rogue like in their game. I think most non rogue complain because there is no skill being invisible and fighting invisible things are no fun. Now most games you mention have some deterrent being in stealth usually a 50 percent speed reduction while stealthed. Gw2 this nonsense is just magnified. No speed reduction lots of stealth and if a rogue fails he can lose over and over and come back stealthed again until he wins so players will complain. Rogue always attract the same type player. The griefer who doesn't like to die and likes to spawn camp and in most games camp much lower levels to one shot. Players who get one shot or spawn camped or attacked from stealth always complain because for the most part there's nothing to counter not being able to see your opponent. Do you really think it's fun to get jumped out of nowhere die before you can react but if you don't die and start fighting and god forbid start to win then you get denied the kill because you run. Then multiple that in gw2 by 1000 times. Yeah players will complain. Stealth is just a bad mechanic but like you said you can't make a mmo w/o one but I have yet to play one where stealth was fairly balanced and able to counter.

The aggro radius is big and the I'm in combat 5 miles away is annoying in pof. Middle ground man. Some aggravation good. Extended ridiculous aggravation bad. Walk in the park is bad too but we are here to play a game for enjoyment and sometimes that's getting to events not getting knocked down 15 times fighting everything and missing the event because you think "we are in a dangerous area" and should have to fight relentlessly over a chest w 1 unid gear 2 empyreal shards in it.

You went on a rant because some dude talked about tanks in a forest and bears then kharmin expanded on the silly comparison as it being 5 bears then after you kill the 5 bears you'd have to fight 5 more which is the crossover between rl bear and the games mechanic of respawning mobs. Every one knows it's a fantasy game and once in a while they try to appy rl to it which yes is silly but again the went to far is going it's a pretty stupid and baseless comparison and the you upset is how serious you took this silly comparison of fantasy to rl so you seemed upset. And if you can't see that there are absolutely no mobs in dawdlers park so that be dumb a map with chests and nodes but no mobs to the complete aggravation of jacaranda and white mantle and iboga when you have to fight half the map. The middle ground is almost every other damn mob everywhere like spiders and harpys or 99 percent of mobs where yes you can avoid most of them while traversing the map and have to kill one or 2 once in a while if you were gathering etc.

  24. I can only guess but say it became a trade in like gold ore silver ore large claws for factions and immediately jump up to 50c. I can't imagine it will become one and I have sold to vendor every leaf fossil i've gotten ever but who knows
