  3. If it would be easy to get 1k gold this way, everyone would do it, killing that market. So, you probably were lucky, finding a temporary hot market.

  5. It is quite easy to misjudge players of botting. A couple of days ago I returned to sPvP. Joined a ranked match. I was surprised to see a DeathMatch game type and was immadiately turned into a Moa bird by an enemy Mesmer player. Lost my skill bar and I played quite badly. After a respawn the same happened. A team mate directly announced that he/she was playing with a bot but it was just me playing poorly. If playing poorly is a sole reason to assume botting, then many newbies or otherwise lesser skilled players will be wrongly accused.

  7. While I don't want to discredit this idea, I rather would like to see ArenaNet pointing their attention to something new, like player housing, a new rendering engine or a game mode like Fort Aspenwood in Guild Wars: Factions.
  8. Hm, back to WvW then for me I guess. There are few alternatives that provide decent vitality+toughness and some power and/or condi.
  9. Just re-introduce the heroes/henchmen in PvP like some GW1 PvP had.
  10. The Cantha expansion Quality Living world content New rendering options like DirectX 11, DirectX 12 and Vulkan.

And the digital deluxe upgrades will be on sale from time to time, but not now. If you buy the game again from buy.guildwars2.com then you will end up with a second account. (Which can be fun if you want to do some roleplaying between your own characters) but that may not be something you want.

In the past I purchased 8000 gems in one transaction (In-game shop, PayPal) with no problem. The shop would not offer 8000 gems for sale if the transaction would not support it.

  14. No, my game runs stable here, using Windows 7 x64 on [this system](https://tweakers.net/gallery/23645/inventaris/?inv_id=2006172). Only my FPS count is a bit low from time to time. Maybe the RTX 3070 is not optimized too well for DX9 games.
  15. Terrain is hard to navigate with the verticality. Too many chances to drop to my death. I would not miss this map when removed.
  16. Thanks. I reset my WvW mastery tree and I now can have some wintersday fun in WvW. The specifics: You can train all masteries, except for the specific ones for the sieges you want to use with wintersday effects. Like the catapult and trebuchet. Not all sieges have wintersday effects. Foe example, cannons still shoot cannon balls. It would be nice if ANet would do some updating here, like selling wintersday sieges for snowflakes that work fine with all mastery levels.

  18. You could open a support ticket with NVIDIA support: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/support/consumer/
  19. Using Windows 7. When I update to the newest version of d912pxy (Release v2.3.1), and activate it, I get the following error message on game start: ``` --------------------------- Guild Wars 2: Gw2-64.exe - System Error --------------------------- The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- ``` The previous Version v2.3 works fine. Any clues?
  20. > @"Popocatl.2649" said: > Someone found a solution? > The solution to me, at the time was downgrading from a bad Malwarebytes version. But this issue has long since been fixed. I'm still using the latest Malwarebytes version today and never had this issue again.
  21. > @"BadToro.4210" said: > This is ridicilous. For over 2 years this problem have existed and still it's not fixed! It will never be completely fixed. Part of the problems are caused by a DigitalRiver AI system trying to automatically detect fraudulent transactions. But this system is far from perfect so many legitimate transactions are blocked. These will probably only stop when ArenaNet stops using Digital River as their e-commerce partner, and I read nothing suggesting they will.
  22. Go to job on work days. Get paid. Buy gems. Watch the exchange rate. Exchange gems to gold when the exchange rate is good. Enjoy the game.
  23. I think the overall reduction of communication and involvement of ArenaNet employees with the forums is the main reason for the increase of an overall atmosphere of toxicity here at the forums. The community wants to get heard. Players want to communicate their concerns, ideas and suggestions to the ArenaNet team, but hardly ever get a reply. This leads to frustrations. Nothing against moderation, I understand that we need to keep the forum tidy but when the chance is greater to get a warning by an anonymous forum moderator than to get your voice heard, then this does not leave forum contributors with a positive feeling. Players have for example asked for years for the status of the WvW alliance system that was announced years ago. And asked for years if GW2 could get native DX11, DX12 and/or Vulkan support. Why isn't there anyone at ArenaNet to address these questions? While overall, I think that the GW2 community is still quite friendly and helpful and in love with the game. Even when there is a lot left to wish for. But when the community feels that they are heard, that the many ideas, suggestions, complaints are noticed by ArenaNet by getting replies, then I think toxicity will largely go away here. Of course, we as community also need to do our part. Do we really need ten threads about the question if GW2 is dying or not? But more than 50% of the threads are directly or indirectly addressed at ArenaNet. And while I understand not every one of them can get a reply, more involvement would be the key to a better atmosphere here. This concern is directed towards ArenaNet and I hope to get a reply.
