Superior Runes Of Speed here. Before you all laugh too hard...until recently, I was strictly a vanilla open world junkie. My characters are garbed in full berzerkers, have Berserker weapons and even my trinkets are Berserker. I do not like the feeling of running sloooow on my Norns and Chars. Yes, we have mounts, but what happens when you become dismounted???? Whatever dismounted you will be chasing you...and you run sooo sloooow. So, I use the superior rune of speed and do not feel slow when I get dismounted.

Plus I get a dab of vitality.

Plus, I feel like my swim speed is increased as well...yes, I put a 7th rune in my aquabreather.

Hmm..yes, we did have armor in the cash shop. Remind me if I am wrong, but each character on the account had to buy, from the gem store, their own set of armor.

I wonder how profitable this was. I am guessing not very.

Then came the wardrobe

And they stopped with the armor.

They should make an armor set and put it to sell in the gemstore as an experiment....see how many people buy it.

I like outfits because My light and medium can wear armor, and my heavies can dabble in some light and medium garb.

I like outfits because I can grab a different look without using transmutation things.

I do wish though, that we could hide shoulders. Some of those things are, well, err, the artist of most of them must have bald characters and is enamored of the broad-shouldered look.

I do wish also that we could wear our own choice of headwear with the outfits...things like glasses, the new dragon eye set, and, oh kitten, some people may want to wear a Quaggon hat with their finery.

I don't want her to die either. I am 'attempting' the living stories and Taimi's cheer is contagious.

Grin. Bitterfrost was the only story I was able to do all the way :)

Kournia I accessed via my Transport thingies. Someone in chat was advertising that she was starting a group for some event in Kournia. I asked if she would invite me to her team just so I could get to the zone and she was agreeable. I ran around it, killing things and discovered Volatile magic.

I found out I can use that currency to buy portal scrolls, so I hurried to the gem store, bought the gathering tools, and had over a thousand Volatile magics in inventory that first day.

And yes, I have all the episodes and all the expansions ...I do not have the Griffon but I did get the Jackle :)

Happy grin. Thank you. I always intended to back and try the story again. My bad experiences in it though have given me an uneasy, sickening feeling.

I only asked for a transport because having it already unlocked would take a lot of pressure off me...and if I did fail and fail again, I would have the new zones to explore.

I am starting the POF story again.

And I am already slamming my head against the computer desk. I have to spy on two smaller camps. I got to one camp and killed lots of Forge but did not feel like I was doing the story.

I then watched a video and found I need to be on top of a building taking down cannons...not sure I know where that building is but I will find it if I have to scramble up to the tops of all buildings within the green circle.

See, I am a clutz and stupid as well :)

Ohhhh....yes....but...I am going to try again. I do like challenges. Challenges that are doable though.

derd.6413..what profession did you use???? I went back to the game with my Dragonhunter, destroyed a whole bunch of ogres and rockdogs, and suddenly a snip from a very old song started playing in my mind "Winners are losers who try one more time."

So this loser is going to be a winner.

Does anyone have any advice about which Youtube videos and/or information online targeting how to play are good?

I don't think I watched anything when I tried.

I come here, hat in hand, because I really need some help.

I play solo because I am an uncoordinated person, am sensitive about it, and since group sizes are limited to five people I would be a hindrance.

So, for me, the living story stories are almost impossible to finish.

Tuesday, a sweet person, invited me to a team, allowing me to use a "Teleport To Friend" to The Domain Of Kourna..a place I could not get to on my own.

I LOVED IT!!!!

I might be a clutz, but I can mow down the regular enemies!!!

So, I was wondering if someone on the American servers could team with me, and allow me to use my "Teleport Friend" things to get to the other Living Story zones??

I feel bad about asking, but I would really like to both see and explore these new maps...Dracononis Mons, Siren's landing, Domain Of Istan, Sandswept Isles, and Jahai

I am a full-time caretaker for my mom, so I can do this whenever it is convenient.

Kitten, I will even stay up horribly late, or get up horribly early for this.

And, of course, I will tip.

In City Of Heroes, cuss words became the word "Pancake" on the forums.

I still think "Oh Pancake, Pancake, Pancake" when there is cussing to be done.

Lisa-Probably going to say Pancake many times tomorrow when she finds out the sheer number of items needed for all the new pieces of stuff that the patch will bring.

Well, just in case it might be needful, I crafted my way to 500 in everything that went up to 500....whew...now I know why people were screaming about hardened leather...that stuff is expensive.

Yup, if there is crafting or resource collecting involved there will a metric ton needed.

Ok, this is wrong, wrong, wrong. The t-shirt outfits were marketed to everyone, not just to Americans.

People of all nationalities went through hell these past few days, I went through hell getting mine, I assume everyone else is as well, trying to get the outfit only to be told, "Sorry, Americans only."

Well, I went through what I call "The Warzone" to get my T-shirt. Gold farmers, bots, shifty-eyed folks, and regular players all bombarding a little app which was not used to so much nonsense...also had to battle the fact that we do not have the greatest of cell phone connections in the house.

And, not only was I finally victorious, the good feeling it left me with was such, that, I went back into the fray to get a code for my husband, who was ready to throw his phone into the wall.

Yes, I am proudly wearing my Dragon T-shirt.

I like its looks, and, I earned it :)
