  1. Most people, myself included, are quick to say what they don’t like or want additionally, etc. and I know I didn’t think much of this item at first because of how I’d used single-use TPS in the past. But I changed my mind and bought it and it is an amazing QoL item for me! =) I use it for a variety of things, including last night joining a bounty that I wouldn’t have been able to get to on time with <3

And thank you for mounts! =) I haven’t gotten the flying mounts yet but am working toward them and got my beetle last night and all the mounts continue to delight me with how fun they are to use to explore Tyria and their idle animations that give them character! :3 <3

  2. I used to PvP a bit before PoF, but the build changes made what I’d been playing either no longer an option or no longer viable (I can’t recall now). I would have to figure out what class and build I would enjoy now. However, the main reason I haven’t tried again is stress levels; I need to relax in game now and people deriding the team in general or me in particular just isn’t fun.

    > Not sure how much clearer the circles can be. At this point it's on the player for having poor pattern recognition skills. Flux bomb has the exact same expanding timer to dropping deadly aoe circle schema. Green circles are universally good circles you want to stand in. Vale guardian greens, unbound guardian greens, Arkk cm greens and now sirens reef shark greens.

    >

    > Also not true. In nightmare you want to be catching the blue bullets in bullet hell.

Okay, fair points! I guess I’ve been doing Nightmare so long it seems self explanatory by now. Somehow I didn’t notice that one of the circles was green... One of the player-targeted circles is green? I don’t recall anything that looked like the circles from Vale Guardian, but if one appeared on the floor, yes, I would assume I need to stand in it.

Thank you! I will look for this next time! I haven’t done many fractals for a while.

  4. Some hairstyles I would like to see for male humans:

    1) messy hairstyles such as Tennant as Crowley in much of Good Omens

    2) fuller long hair styles as are available for females (instead of longer than shoulder length only hanging straight down)

    3) more curly hair options

For both human and born hair it would be great to have an option for streaks; I am particularly thinking of dark hair streaked with gray.

I’m happy with the sylvari options (most of my characters are sylvari) and don’t play charr nor asura much so don’t have much opinion there.

While more hair options would be grand, there are other changes in character creation that I would want before I would create more human and born characters, including options for face, build and makeup (should be optional and ideally adjustable for all faces!).

  5. Probably my least favorite fractal because of the ship fight. There is so much going on and so many effects on the ground and worse, it is not at all intuitive what the different circles mean.

Nightmare, my most favorite fractal, also has lots of ground targeting effects but they are all aoes you need to avoid and Arkk is even so kind as to clue you in on “toxic sickness” in case one had any doubts about the projecting cone!

They are nice! =) My favorite set so far has been Dreamthistle but I haven’t gotten the whole set yet as it returned only when I was on a hiatus! Next time! *looks at avatar* You have good taste. :yum:

Anet just posted an update — it’s being fixed. :)

That’s just stupid. Sorry to be blunt, but really. :unamused: I care very much how my characters look even in single player games like Dragon Age and I know a LOT of other people who do as well.

By your “logic,” why play the game at all? Just do whatever you want in your own mind — you can be omnipotent!

    > Dyes could use a new tier. Dyes have lost the prestige and meaning that they used to have back when the color black on your armor was a rare and cool thing, having a certain dye on your character used to be noticeable and notable. A new tier of dyes with some kind of unique sheen or effect would be awesome. Anything from an interesting gradient to a really strong gloss finish would make them desirable, interesting, and give some life to the dye market that is currently based mostly on artificial rarity rather than the actual aesthetic look of the dye.

It’s great that all colors are accessible to everyone! A player just starting out should be able to dress all in black if they want. I think we have a wonderful variety of colors, but certainly would not say no to new options, dye channels, etc. I do want to say that choosing dyes should be to achieve the look you want for your character, whether they are common or exclusive shouldn’t matters There is already the “I’m rich, you know” title if that’s all you want to say.

I know, right? Better they hover overhead on a lovely dragon so I can’t see that they are a sickly phosphorescent green and spouting sparks and fumes... :mask:

But seriously, whether beautiful, badass or biohazard, people should (and I assume do), choose their character names, fashion and mounts for their own enjoyment. :)

    > Can't I have something for MYSELF? I dress up my characters because I PERSONALLY like looking at them. Getting the occasional "hey that's quality armor" comment is just an added bonus.

    :+1:

  11. Who watches that anyway??? The ONLY GW2 videos by players that I watch are those that explain / show how something is done. For SWTOR and Dragon Age I have also watched videos cutting together story cutscenes and dialogue for dramatic or humorous effect. I have no interest in watching the sort of highlight videos you describe and would assume people make them primarily for their own satisfaction (nothing wrong with that, but of no interest to me).

  12. There are some beautiful underwater areas to explore throughout Tyria! :3 Underwater combat seems to work better on some classes than others and we need more breather skins, but I do like the open world underwater content and having a mount to ease movement and exploration underwater would be terrific! =)

    >

Out of curiosity, what content do you normally play? After my first set or two, other materials were always the limiting factor for me to make ascended gear, never bloodstone dust, empyreal fragments nor dragonite ore. Or maybe you make ascended gear at a much higher rate than I have!

  14. I do wish that these were not account bound. It would help out new players, who are likely the only ones who actually need it (I remember looking for where to get more dragonite ore back when crafting my first ascended). If you do any endgame content at all it’s rained on you — LW map nodes, fractals and even the special event nodes. People didn’t like getting scraps of jute from the first WB rush event but I’d gladly take that over more unsellable junk! I periodically stacks of these from my mats bank so that the stuff will deposit and I don’t have to constantly delete it from characters’ inventory bags.

    > Anyone else notice that your getting ripped off on 5 of the 7 gathering nodes in your guild hall when using the unbound magic tools (3/3)? Only two nodes you can hit 3 times. The other 5 nodes you can only hit once. I already sent video of the gathering results but have been instructed to post here. Funny, you'd think that technical support would be able to fix the issue after seeing the proof but nope, they want it posted in discussions

I haven’t encountered that, but I was using the limited ones bought for karma rather than unlimited. I stopped using those on guild hall nodes though as I felt like I was getting less magic per strike but I could be mistaken.

  16. I don’t care for the effects of either the legendary trinkets nor most infusions. I would prefer either a subtle effect from where the trinket is worn or some kind of thematic effect like the legendary weapons have. The “bouncy balls” effect of these trinkets is not for me.

    >

I don’t believe I had anything reset after the original date. The only thing I recall finding without stats after that was some low level item that I’d probably neglected to begin with.

It would be nice if ANet explained how it actually worked or acknowledged that the reset and “hot fix” didn’t work as intended. I really can’t be upset that I wasn’t able to reset my LWS3 trinkets with Magi stats to Harrier, for instance, as I never expected such an option and instead am grateful that I can get these trinkets farming Bitterfrost and Bloodstone Fen! :) What does bother me is that what little response has been made seems like our messages have been ignored and instead it feels a bit insulting being told to read the exceptions: No, no where does it say why some of my black ice trinkets reset and others did not.

  18. Jungle, plus I love the complex design of the HoT maps! I also enjoy exploring hidden caverns and finding whole areas accessed underwater. But speaking purely of ecosystem (and not specific map design), I like forests, from Caledon to the Maguuma Jungle to the coniferous Bitterfrost. I’m less a fan of more open empty maps, but it’s great to have a variety! :)

As long as you keep Lupicus from eating grubs, he is not so bad. Having a healer can definitely help, but the main obstacle in many dungeons are specific mechanics that require coordination, but fractals and especially raids have that, so people ought to be prepared. I enjoy dungeons and likewise have a lot more skins I would like to unlock. PvP only unlocks one armor piece per completed track but it’s a decent way to get the weapons (if the track rewards are about the same as they were two years ago).

I agree that a dungeon rush could be a fun event! Ooh, and a great reward that wouldn’t impact the economy of mats etc. would be extra tokens! =)
