You have to treat every map as if it exists within its own time. An example would be an intact divinity's reach dam, but then the same dam has been breached in the Lake Doric map. There are some continuity issues that have been left over from season one days where events really did happen in the world. Fort Concordia in Timberline Falls is an example of this where currently it has Mordremoth vines all over it and has been destroyed even thought technically that event had not happened yet in the time bubble that Timberline Falls exists in, but it does exist there nonetheless. Other exclusions to the rules would be anything within the side stories section. Those events are supposed to be current within their respected story timeline, but yet exist in the open world within maps that took place prior to their existence. Fort salma in kessex hills + half of kessex hills is a good example as well
  4. Considering they already made hero charcters in that 1 spvp map that was taken out of rotation since it wasent cap 3 points and hold type of thing, yea they have the experience with the first part.

Any ideas guys? > > Rik Play the story that first is talking in eye of the north. Tells you to go to rata sum, do some missions there then back to eye of the north to do first dragon response mission according to the story. That is were the first dragon slayer tier unlocks so you can gain experience in it and you can then buy tier 2 for som tyrian defence medalions. Edit If your talking about tier 3 and onwards they have not released those yet.

We never got 1/4 of an episode before either.

  9. If they are new have them delete all characters and transfer to Na. Or just start a new account.

If someone bought 250 kills of a raid boss then they can pay people to run drms for them as well. Easy to spot the preformance factor of you get one of those ask to be paid or just leave the group.

The reason for public missions to not start once the mini-goals are complete is possibly to make sure the party is filled. > 4) disconnecting is an issue > 5) The allies are more or less useless for all the missions if you have CMs on 5 from what I seen the only not useless npc is the veteran watchwork knights.
  12. > @"nargilli.6987" said: > Well, a strike mission It is basically the methadone of the raids, with all that implies in term of toxicity etc. they were so badly implemented that the "public" option is completely useless, I think they realized this sad fact and created dragon response missions that at the moment are really fun and seems good for beginners, btw we will see in the future, the real sad thing is that strike missions are a missed opportunity to bring people closer to raids without the ever present toxic/elitists of the raid world due to this rough design. What do raiders creating their own squads or strikes have with the toxic nature of random people in the strike teams?

Yea Ashantara I agree with Cyninja here if that was possible you bet there would be lfg for it since they would take down world bosses faster and be able to do 2 maybe 3 of the same one before the next boss in line 15 mins later.

Yea that would only make block chains circulate so all in the group/squad decide who should be on their block list. To not weed out to many players.
  15. > @"panzerdragon.8791" said: > One user earlier did mention that the common fc lfg is playing with a completely different player base than the newbie raiders. I pug every single wing with general ease. My only sticking points might be largos SH as they require double the tanks. I lead my own raids most of time and my lfg reads as follows: > > W5 fc LF exp tank, druid pusher , alac , condi dps > > Guess my squad requires experience so it's toxic to newer raiders , and I specifically want a druid to deal with tds. This is the typical post of 99 percent of the lfg. Nothing really outstanding. If a newbie joins our squad we let em know that now is not the time to train and that's about it. Honestly easier bosses I don't really much about kp. > > I started playing on day one in gw2 and have enjoyed dungeons , fractals , and then raiding. I only perceived toxic stuff from the forums. Raids were so hard back then , but look where we are now. The raiding community has no issues clearing content on the daily. If rewards were daily I would just spam raids all week. > > I'm not sure what more newbie raiders want. All the build development for every build and class come from raiding or pvp. Even the open world builds are found on meta battle and are compromised of raid perfect builds with added functions for solo play. Hundreds and guides , videos, and guilds/ discords with training. The raiding community has done enough. > > Perhaps people think requirements are toxic. That could really be it. To that I say it's too bad then. I've heard of the bear long now ranger meme , but never seen one. Does the bear ranger really fall into the target market for raids ? Can the ranger force people to deal with them ? Also no. When the bear ranger can't get a group or join groups they will now understand social market places. If you don't speak the language people won't talk to you. Same goes here. A person that wants to raid will have the equipment make the investment to train up. The lfg is mostly for experienced raiders. Pug groups do not have much comms so tried and true meta comps and strats provide easy clears. > > You prob had a bear bow ranger in a sence as hand kite of deimos if you ever done it with a soulbeast just saying =P
  16. > @"Fangoth.4503" said: > you already cannot see people in your BL lfg. > they can join yours in which case just kick them :) You can see them just find and wonder why the are silent as kittens, even if you speak to the directly. Then you check block list and see they are there.

What I would like to know is why you have to def this in every thread or say make your own group or I'm better then you are and never strugglw w content so you can't complain or I'll come lecture you even tho I do all t4 and raids w my static and etc etc > > > > > > > > Why do people have to criticize those who have requirements set for groups that they create? It's not challenging well it is challenging to stay awake. Most don't like to create their own group. I don't. I'll happily stare at a lfg section waiting for others. idk why. So then you see this pop up drm cms you like yay and see the 250 li and like eff this. You want t4 cm fracs or raids I get it and sure put reqs here too but I'll just shake my head at how sad some are just like the one's who are "elite" but only do content w 3 guards and a rev(maybe not you). Yeah I'd find harder content easy to if I did that. > > > > But still: why does it matter so much what some people require for their groups? There’s a large difference between raid level players and open world players. Perhaps they have these requirements to increase the odds of have a quick run. > > > > A previous post of mine had stated that players can create their own groups if they don’t like it and you countered it by saying that “ We all can. We all know this”. Now you’re stating that most don’t like to create their own group. That is the real issue. > > tbh, as one of those that don't like to make my own lfg, is I feel plenty confident with my gameplay in the content, but people tend to look to the group creator for everything. I would rather just do my part and put damage down or whatever role function i'm performing, not have people looking to me for whatever. > > and also in all honesty, the kp/li stuff is pretty stupid. I'm no raider, although i wouldn't say no it, attempted one training run, bought a kill to be able to max out masteries, and since the training run was for the same boss that the paid run did and had a decent understanding of the fight, i joined in on the kill and wanted more, but don't really have the time to commit to raids sadly. i'm not saying i'm a great player, nor do i completely suck at the game. have ran strike missions with pugs with no li/kp reqs plenty of times and have had smooth easy runs. yeah, sure, kp/li says they can contibute to killing a boss in a time limit and handle some fight mechanics. whats to say those that have never set foot in a raid aren't capable of the same outcomes? those two things should not be the determination of a players worth. If 2 people are in the group noone knows who started the group so how do they look at the creator for anything? For all you know the one who made the lfg might have left due to wife, kid or parent emergency and the other person in the group stayed on to look for people. The only place people expect you to know kitten as a leader is commanding raids. Edit Sorry forgot about that one open world boss tri-wurm were commanders should know kittens aswell.
  20. No you dont take down anything alone in story, you have plenty of npcs with you.
  21. Combat boosters are only allowed in open world pve not in instanced or competetive content.
  22. Looks like you can get them from Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock or Guaranteed Weapon Unlock maybe you got it from one of those? https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guaranteed_Wardrobe_Unlock https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guaranteed_Weapon_Unlock
