  1. And there's this NPC: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Boost_Enchantment_Researcher
  2. Here you go: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gourmet_Training#Walkthrough Good luck.
  3. Somehow, all of us playing managed to 'learn the game' enough to still play. I don't know how much of the population it is, but some players just aren't interested in min/maxing, or using some specific best-for-particular-content weapon or build. It's a game, and they just want to have fun. Still, they manage to be able to complete most of the content released, barring the high-challenge end-content, such as Raids, etc. Is the purpose of this suggestion to make everyone a min-maxer, so that all content released becomes 10x-higher in difficulty? Is the goal to have another Wildstar? It seems that game didn't go over that well.
  4. For technical reasons, the Team can't complete Story or Map objectives for a character, so I don't think the suggestion is viable. Sorry. For the others, I don't use them, so have no real opinion. Good luck.
  5. After reaching L80 in Core Tyria, don't forget to spend time in Maguuma Wastes, which will better prepare for Heart of Thorns or Path of Fire. Good luck.
  6. Here is official information: https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045462814-Network-Connection-FAQ- (Scroll to bottom.)

That statement has nothing to do with _fixing bugs_, but rather with spending the time (away from fixing bugs or working on the bugs that come with creating the expansion) to document the status of bugs. Each to their own, I guess.

You may not think it worth the effort, but as this thread is showing there is a big interest in transparency and honesty. I don't know....it's seems most of the 'interest' is coming just from one...or a few...players on this particular topic. Like many cool ideas that ArenaNet has tried, they seem to be in one Dev's 'backyard' (perhaps it was their idea, and told they could run with it), and when that Dev leaves or is moved to another team, it kind of fizzles out. It would be great to know the status of real game-breaking bugs, but, well, it is what it is. It's not a really big team at ArenaNet, and, according to the Devs, they have more than enough to do to offer us what they can.
  9. When I do want to pay attention to damage numbers, I find them useful .. in the sense that I know I'm actually hitting the target (in some of the really big groups of players).

  11. No open world PvP; for all the reasons in all the previous threads. Although it's considered a 'meme', wait for Alliances for such...where it belongs.
  12. Yes, many times. I've not always, of course, received what I was hoping for, but even some of the common items are useful.
  13. > @"reddog.7081" said: > Thanx for the reply. I may just be stupid but I just seem to be going around in circles and not actually able to change the account email address. I seem to just keep coming back to the same web pages over and over. Why is this so difficult? I know its probably just me. We have the serial no. and old email and the new one but I just cant seem to get anywhere. Seriously frustrating Only the CS Team can change the email address associated with a game account. You'll need to submit a ticket, and have them assist you. If you can't log in, then submit the ticket using the 'Anonymous' feature. Good luck.
  14. Cool. You might consider adding your solution to the aforementioned thread.
  15. ArenaNet 'sold' to NCSoft long before they ever released _any_ game, much less Guild Wars 2. Not sure what 'slow and steady approach' is being referenced. Also, as to 'nobody wants to fix/tweak older stuff because it is a drudge work. It's far more glamorous to work on new things', I'm not sure that the Devs get to pick and choose what they want to work on, whether they think it drudge-like _or_ glamorous.

That's why separate depeartments exist anyway. The group of devs fixing bugs aren't the devs making the new expac. You think there aren't expansion bugs encountered whilst working on the expansion? You may be interested to watch Guild Chat and hear about some of the bugs that never made it to releases. Some quite comical, some very vexing.
  17. You can farm 'on human' in any of the Home Instances. I prefer Dreamer's Terrace, but others prefer the other Home Instances.
  18. You can find tips/suggestions in the Dev-posted thread 'Storyline Disconnects'. I suggest reading from last to first. Good luck.
  19. Or visit the Guild Hall there, I believe.
  20. Could be, I guess. I don't really remember.
  21. Then, they will get to it when they feel it is appropriate. Patience is a virtue, they say. Again, good luck!
  22. Why should there be some limit? If there's always a more important bug, why should a less important one take priority? Is this about the armor bugs you've posted about several times? The Art Team is probably really busy with the expansion right now.
  23. Personally, I'd rather they work on the upcoming expansion. /shrug Lots of things aren't as often as they used to be since the pandemic and the work on the expansion.
  24. Is it really that long, over an hour? I don't remember it taking much time, but it's been awhile.
