I think it would be beneficial to look up what entitlement actually means. Your usage of it in your post is incorrect.

  2. Alacrigade doesn’t require weapon swaps except for when you need to CC. If you’re doing the heal variant, you can just camp staff.

There’s also a condi SB build that is relatively comparable to other condi classes with minor exceptions (e.g. condi chrono for largos). This build can camp shortbow.

Power daredevil is another that doesn’t require weapon swapping at all. Same goes for rifle deadeye.

One issue that I see regardless is that the majority of builds use many of the F1-5 skills so if you’re having issues using the weapon swap key then you may have similar issues with those.

You have to look along the entire route. Generally you’re going to see 100% packet loss from the AWS servers as they don’t respond to ping requests.

(No help from my main account either, it's actually the opposite - I send gold and materials from my 2nd account to the main one whenever I need it.)

    > >

    > > If someone's had the game for 4 years and only had 4 gold I think it would either be because they're a very casual and/or occasional player who has not done much and therefore doesn't need to be thinking about getting new episodes because there will be tons of content still to do in the main game, or they're spending gold on other things and likely saving lots of materials and maybe even equipment they could otherwise sell. In that case it's just a question of prioritising: is getting the episode/s you want with gold worth more than whatever else you're getting? If so save up, maybe go through your materials etc. and see what you can sell and buy them, if not just keep doing other things or consider using real money instead.

    >

    > Nah, they could be like me, and see a shiny on the market, and buy it. According to the achievement tracker I've had almost 2 million gold, but according to my bank, I'm fluctuating somewhere around 100 now. Back when I used to ignore the dailies, I'd be lucky to hit 10 gold.

That’s like someone spending all their money on clothes and then saying they don’t have enough to spend on a movie ticket. Simply re-prioritize your spending.

    >

    > 1. The normal speed clear meta designed for players of peak experience who don't make mistakes. You could call this "the elite meta."

    > 2. And then a "safe meta" where the meta is designed for players who do make mistakes, that would gladly DPS a bit slower to be able to clear a raid. It is often that a normal speed clear meta build operating at 100% damage output, can sacrifice about 10% to 15% of that dps value, to literally "double or triple" it's own sustain value, simply by bringing 1 defensive utility + some trait swap to a defensive trait. And then of course the kinds of things can be done which the OP mentioned.

    >

    > ^ If this where to be done, LFGs could list as: "Elite" or "Safe" and players could have different standards within squads, but two different methods to be able to agree upon. It would make the communication of expectations a lot easier. People have said they wanted an easy mode for raids, well this would be the easiest way to achieve it, a community accepted alternative "Safe" meta that players can organize around, who want to play at that pace.

How about you provide the builds for what you deem to be the “safe meta”.

    > In theory yes, but in reality people are stupid and snowcrows should consider this and maybe offer LFG builds and LFG raid setups for the average players.

It’s not on them to do this.

    > Since they are the meta they have some responsibility and should not, even unintentionally, destroy raiding for average players.

They’re not intentionally, or unintentionally, destroying raiding. Thinking that they are just means that you’re failing to understand the issue.

Thank you ANET. **If you look at the delete character dialog box now, you will see the change I was asking for. Instead of a simple warning, we got an extensive warning**. I couldn't ask for more. :)

It's the exact same warning that we have had for years.

Edit: Here's a video for reference.

I implore everyone to please take their time when reading these confirmation boxes and don't simply ignore them. When I delete a character, usually one to farm keys, I always log onto the character and double check that it has nothing that I wouldn't want deleted.

  8. Also for those that feel they should have gotten LS episodes with the expansions:

    > Owners of Guild Wars 2:Path of Fire can unlock new Living World episodes by logging in during each episode's free introductory period. Previously-released episodes can be purchased in game.

    https://buy.guildwars2.com/store/gw2/en_US/html/pbPage.pathoffire/themeID.4785548100

It’s indicated that they are not included.

    > Actually there are already packs with the expansion + LWS3 (With HoT) or LWS4 (With PoF). They just must be announced properly in the game store (and not only on the gem shop) specially post Steam Release. Also a pack with both expansions + All LW (Seasons 2 to 4 and Icebrood saga) added to the Steam release wouldn't be a bad idea.

There isn’t already packs with LS3+HoT or LS4+PoF though.

I assume most allow that. The point that I was making was that there’s little reason to represent any particular guild.

    >

    > You can't create something that is not a free account.

You can purchase the game and register at the time of purchase. Even then, the point was to clarify your post where you made it seem that the act of purchasing an expansion would provide a free server transfer when it’s not entirely true. A paid account purchasing an expansion would not get a free server transfer. Free server transfers also have nothing to do with DLCs.

Except we both know that the updates which GW1 gets is vastly different from what GW2 gets.

    > Honestly ascended equipment is so easy to get, especially as a raider, that it doesn't really matter. Just go for the armor that you like the skin of.

Except for when they eventually add legendary armory meaning you’ll only ever need a single legendary armor set for each weight. It removes the need to have many ascended sets for many builds across many characters.
