Heroic Dragonsblood collection?

With all these new weapon collections in the icebrood saga, I was wondering why the Heroic Dragonsblood weapons never had a collection? Given the cost to finish them, it would be nice to have an additional incentive beyond the three quest to partially finish each one.

I have the ascended long bow and have started working on the greatsword. I do have exotic versions of the longbow, greatsword and sword.

I don't know for sure, but one possibility is that they don't have a collection _because_ they're so expensive. This way no one feels pressured to make more of them than they actually want just to complete the collection.

They addressed this during the post-release Q&As - it's because at that particular time, they want players feeling like they had to grind for such an expensive, long collection.

 

Personally I think it should be down to the players to decide if it is just achievement points as a reward, but they made a fair point

The vision items you get being worth 50G certainly feels like pressure to finish them. If you ever wanted to get one of those skins but got rid of the vision item, you are facing another 50G loss on top of ascended costs that already exist.

I have ALL Heroic Dragonsblood weapons, except shield, some progress was buged at exotic and hope may be sometime it will be fixed.

It is expensive- no, I don' think so.

Should it be collection ? No, - make ancient wep collections is not have spirit of gw2.

So you don't have ALL then no reason to cap lock it

I did the quests for all the weapons but only actually crafted 2. Getting the Vision items at 12 AP per item is a better deal than most if not all weapon collections. No complaints here.
