I don't know it will be that one, it's just the first one I thought of when I saw 'dragon themed outfit'.

If the picture on mmobomb is to be trusted, it's something new...

The picture at the top of that page? I'm pretty sure that's a Mini Mystical Dragon in front of a player, who I think is wearing the Falconer's coat (human tier 2), but I'm not sure.

The fact that each article I've seen is using a different image and none of them seem to be a new outfit is the main thing which makes me think it's not a new one. Otherwise I'm sure Anet would have provided pictures of it to go with the promotion.

ANet might be saving that for their own announcement. They've been fond of dribbling leaks to game-news sites before, but we'll have to wait a few days for the official unveiling, probably.

The blurb does say you get the codes by linking to the app, so that's hopeful. It does not say an exclusive outfit. Maybe it will offer an outfit voucher rather than something specific, that would be sweet.

There's a Kung Fu Tea in my state, whoa! Three hour drive, though, not going that far for a drink. Even though I always kind of wanted to try bubble tea.

Seems like a cool way for two companies to advertise each other.

The main prize is a _Heroic_ copy of the game (all expansions). That automatically comes with a special outfit. In addition, there seems to be some additional outfit.

What's unclear is whether that outfit will (or won't) be available through any other methods.

PS this isn't at all new. ANet's given away stuff before at conventions that couldn't be otherwise obtained in game.

This begs the question: why rebrand an existing drink? What about...

[Dragonfruit](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitaya) tea

Choya-inspired boba (could be made with cactus or dyed green)

I'm actually disappointed to find out from Google that amethyst cake is an actual gem stone and not a cake. I got all excited thinking about how they could have pulled it off (I'm thinking jelly...jello in America, or maybe sugar crystals for a smaller cake) and then I find they didn't, they just cut a square slab of rock. Considering branded plants tend to be poisonous (or venomous since I'm sure some will attack) I'm not sure I'd want to eat a branded cake, but it would look pretty.

I agree though, an original product would be more interesting. My vote would be a dragonfruit smoothie. I've never seen it sold but I've made them at home and they're really nice. Not sure about tea, although I can imagine dragonfruit and green tea working well, maybe chilled rather than hot.

Oh, it's boba (tea/fruit drinks). We have that everywhere here (except it's called boba, not 'bubble'). I like it well enough, though not enough to go out of my way to get it.

It seems amazing they are giving away Core (Heroic) copies of the game just for this. I thought it was just a code for the goodies that come with the old Heroic upgrade. Hope we don't get a rash of RMT spam. Also hope we get more information soon.

I believe the 'Grand' prize is a _Deluxe_ version of the game including both expansions. The _Heroic_ edition of the game is a semi-deluxe (no longer purchasable) version of the Core game. Again, it's not really clear if it is a code to download Core GW2 (Heroic Edition), or a code to acquire those extra Heroic Edition items.

After reading several articles about the promotion, I'm pretty positive it is just a code for the 'Heroic Edition' bundle of items. Not a free Core game code.

I believe that. The various articles I read seemed to paraphrase a press release rather than quoting verbatim, and something was (sometimes) lost in translation.
