Ayrilana.1396 Posted November 5, 2018 Share Posted November 5, 2018 LS4E5: 11/27/18 Wintersday: 12/11/18 I based episode five on the black lion store release cycle and under the assumption that it wouldn’t release concurrently with Wintersday. We could end up waiting until next year though. Wintersday’s date is based off previous years. Thoughts? Edit: Wintersday will likely end on 1/8 but I don’t see them releasing the episode then. I'm not expecting next episode until after that finishes, so anything before I will put down as a bonus. I want as little as possible to distract me from Smash Bros anyway... I honestly don’t have time due to holidays and want to focus on Wintersday. I’m pretty happy with the fact that it’s not going to happen until next year. If it comes out in January it would be about 5 months after Episode 4's release (as the first likely release date would be the 16th of January). Its just this game needs some with lots of players doing them together to make it work. Plus who doesn't like having yellow snow as a weapon cus its the best weapon ever! Ls1 had fence mending, festivals and occasionally we got a big fight, but very little story. And no maps. It put out very little very often Ls2 had 2 maps each staggered in 3 bits. Ls3 is a more accurate comparison, altho on a production level, ls4 clearly is a bit higher. You also get a ton more content in the current living world story episodes compared to before, and full scale maps. More but smaller updates, big updates once they are really done, everything they create in the meanwhile becomes some sort of new tiny gimmick that is not very meaningful but still fun and fully playable. Anyways, for my part I finally chose to go on hiatus and play all the single player games I wanted to play: Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy XV, Undertale on the Switch, Darksiders 3 atm.
