[Suggestion] 1 More New mount

I like the Idea of a Dolphin mount underwater more than some others.

Just cuz i can imagine the Dolphin to be actually *fast*

We got Griffon for fast travelling in the air.

We got Rollerbeetle for fast travelling on land. (depends on territory ik but you know what i mean)

And Dolphin would be for fast travelling underwarter.

Here you can implement similar mechanics like we have on griffon.

Dive down = gain speed, Dive up loose speed

Your endurance bar would give you a boost like the Roler Beetle so you also have the option to dive up fast or just for reaching you max speed underwater quicker

With your speed you would also be able to jump out of water (this would actually be really cool imo)

The mounts are tied to pof and ls4. Im assuming ls5 will be be tied to core, so i dont see or want another mount this season

An underwater mount gets my SEAL of approval. But make it the LAST new mount... that will fill my numeric keypad 1-9.

i rather want a normal but handy mount for on land, like a spider mount that allows me to walk against walls and get down from ledges by spiderweb.

as a bonus thing, it could have water walking and a attack that slows enemies.

People who enjoy underwater content are a minority, so there is no need for an underwater mount. You don’t need a mount underwater.

My vote would be for a fast and agile Humboldt squid sort of mount just for something odd and different, but whatever it ended up being, I think it should to be able to leap out of the water if you have enough momentum. =)

I'd like a squid/octopus; sleek, fast, tentacles, squirts ink to blind, poison or confuse foes as it's engage skill. It's movement could be pulsating, like a continuous jackal port only a little slower and it's dodge would be like the raptor jump/beetle's burst of speed engage skill.

That you can hover above water and gain speed while doing so, and then you can press the Special-Action to make it dive

A diving skimmer would not be a skimmer anymore. The clue is in the name. While i admire the attempts to save anet time and money by upgrading the skimmer, in effect it would be quite different from what we have now. Also, mount skins sell, so with a refitted skimmer there would be no financial benefit as there would be no new mount skins.

Id personally like to see an armored fish mount. The art is already in the game and somewhat underused. Plus a mount that can take some hits and have a charging cc would be pretty cool.

I would like an octopus mount. The engage skill would pull enemies together (up to 8 opponents since the octopus has 8 arms) like the raptor swipe, but in 3D. This would make underwater combat so much less tedious.

 

Edit: If ANet decides to raise the limit to 10 opponents, should we call it a decapus?
