Ingame Mail Anti-Spam Mechanic

After years of this unpleasant system, can we please get 2 conditions build in that allow sending ig mails without cooldown?

1. Receiver and Sender have each other friended

2. Receiver and Sender represent the same guild

Not totaly related but not completly irrelevent either the ingame mute system on map channel could use an improvment as well...

Quite frustrating when you try to lead an event to be mute after a few messages...

I can't remember where I saw it but I remember a dev commenting on this issue years ago saying it was a limitation in the system that couldn't be changed easily. If I have time later I'll try to find the post.

i play this game for 4~5 years, never had such kind of spam,, the P.M. spam i just block.

Heh... no, I just remember seeing topics rotate back around and use the Forums Search function.

I think the issue here is the OP wants to spam more mail, and the game won't let them.

I guess the anti RMT measures work great? Been here all along and have seen nor heard from a gold seller.

When the game was still fairly new you would be getting dozens of spam whispers from gold sellers every time you posted on the forums. I stopped posting for a while because the ingame spam got too annoying.

Indeed, there used to be a LOT of Gold-seller spam in chat. As well as lots and lots of gathering and bear-bow bots running around PvE.

There is a difference between whispers, and letters. I feel like removing the limit for players who have each other as friends isnt a bad idea. I sure as hell dont add bots/goldsellers or trolls to my friends list.

There were lots of letters/mail, as well. One of the reasons the Report feature was there.
