I enjoy reminding my wife the boys are older than she was.. Could've started months ago already. xD

ON TOPIC: Isn't the game better with a healthy rivalry? We have no good reason to kill each other, but pvp tends to suck when the red team is littered with friendlies. I remember a time when that's all forums were for.

She was popular in the 90's

You just confused half the forum, grandpa

  3. For me, downstate has always been a thorn. Especially when they removed quickness stomps so you HAD to just stand there, whole blob whacking you, while they outres your stomp. Warclaw sidelines a friendly but it's at least given us a way to occasionally kill someone in the boonball.

But I'd still prefer warclaw and downstate both went away.

    >

    > 3 way fights just can't happen in the game anymore.

They can, but not at the inevitable max population.

It'd be nice if they'd drop population caps since there's lots of space and lack of ability to address the issue apparently.

    > remember the game is not really pvp/wvw Focused so we get what we get

That's the funny thing, before I bought gw2 I was under the impression it was THE team pvp rpg. The laser focus on living story came as an unwelcome surprise.

    Waaaaay more than you apparently

    >Gw2power gives the average damage output between sets of stats, if it's saying there's a 0.3% difference that's probably right on target for what to expect over the course of a fight under ideal conditions.

Yeah we fight "under ideal conditions" lots don't we? Pretty much like hitting a target golem.

    >

    > You won't be crit capped on spb either, so the 45 precision weighs almost as heavily as power. In any scenario, 0.3% damage isn't worth losing 235 Stat points for.

You're the one focusing on warrior, I get grossed out every time I've ever brought mine into WvW.

Hey man, I mean it's not like I don't appreciate you convincing all those firebrands to go with.... Condi Guard of all things xD

    But that's just rude

You don't factor damage modifiers in your maff, only baseline?

I'll remind you that your stance so far has been trading power in for 90 toughness is a game changer..

    See, here's the fing.

You're treating a team burst build like it's for dueling.

    Healing power?

    Another few seconds?

You should be killing Right Meow, six seconds of glory, trail of bodies behind you.

The hardest warriors to deal with are the ones that fly around with the two-touch of death, and that's all about our 'ol pal min-max.

No veteran guards would definitely res you when out of combat. I hadn't realized it changed.

It is NEVER worth losing power on a dps specialist with invulnerables. Your statement must be quantified.

    Pfft peasant food.

Only the finest boil-in-a-bag delicacies touch these lips. (Seriously, look up sous vide. It's amazing what a French name can do)

I think it's a good thing for this relic to go on reminding people. Wish I could find the post claiming WvW would be "Priority one after HoT is stable."

Living story team has given the rest of the game a bait-and-switch for a long time now.
