  1. I doubt they'd make the Armory cost anything considering the backlash they got form the equipment templates being so expensive. They said they wanted this to be an extension of the templates that makes Legendary items more valuable, I think making it cost money would defeat the purpose.
  2. I'm surprised they haven't done it already to be honest, Furniture could generate a lot of money in the gemstore as well as add in some interesting drops in game. All the tech is there with guild halls.
  3. If they figure out a way to introduce them in a way they reuse armor and voice lines then I'm all for a new race. But if they can't then I'd say It'd be better to focus on parts of the game that need attention like raids/pvp/wvw since creating a whole new race from scratch and redoing every previous voiceline, outfit and armor would be intense and expensive work for just one race.
  4. Completely agree, the mounts are so well done and each one opens up new ways to explore :) I feel the same way about the Griffon, That mount alone could be it's own game to me.
  5. I like it! I wish they'd play more with loosing parts on mounts. I don't think you would need to do a complete new skeleton with animations, just have no mesh where the wings are. The skeleton and animations are the still there and moving just invisible in game. I'd love to see a Wyvern style skyscale too without the front legs.
  6. In this game, I'd say that's just as it should be. In a group it gets ten times easier but as solo I think it's fairly balanced. I think the beginner maps are great for learning your class as a new player. New players are flooded with info and have to learn all their skills and traits as well as everything that goes into the combat system like Utility, Conditions, Stunbreaks, CC. For me, the core game is mostly a fun learning experience and from HoT onwards is where you put that learning to use on harder difficulty maps.
  7. Having 4-6 week patches could have been great at keeping gameplay exciting, It's a shame it never happened. Right now I expect nothing since they're working on the expansion but I just hope that after the expansion drops they will realize that balance patches are what keeps WvW and PvP fresh, Metas need to change or gameplay gets stale.
  8. ![](https://i.imgur.com/28VozT1.jpg "") ![](https://i.imgur.com/YZY9o9x.jpg "") It's a good skin, My only issues are that the top of the wings clip slightly when grounded and the feathers at this part also look a bit off. The markings around the eyes have an odd red outline that cant be dyed which I'm not sure is intended. but overall It's a solid skin just wish those issues were seen before it got released.
  9. I'm not sure what they could do in terms of movement, mounts kind of cover every version of movement you need. I doubt they'd introduce the mini game actions since it'd make some mounts like the springer useless as well as introduce a whole can of worms with balancing older areas/fights. If it is a movement mastery my guess would be on stamina based climbing for ledges, rocks or trees but again we can already see how buggy that would be with the skyscale so who knows...
  10. Hitting behind walls isn't exclusive to Ranger longbow. It's a setting in the controls where you can snap aoe's to your target without LOS. Barrage is no different than other ranged aoes like meteor shower, Just because it's got the theme of arrows doesn't mean it should be a projectile.
  11. Personally I think it'd be better for them to start the Hype building 2/3 months prior to release, every couple of weeks releasing trailers/info. I think it'd be more beneficial to have it be a big lead up with hopefully some proper marketing than info drops throughout the year that wouldn't generate as much buzz outside the gw2 playerbase.
  12. As much as I'd like to see them gone I doubt we ever will. Best we can hope for is an unlimited transmutation stone. I just hope if they ever do it it'll be like the salvage-o-matic and not hair contract.
  13. I'm all here for a underwater revamp, there's so much potential there in maps alone. I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing the deep sea dragon in EoD so an underwater map and locations of the underwater races are very likely, a new mount would be nice too, Underwater skimmer is kind of slow in 3D movement so maybe like skimmer is to a skyscale we could get a griffon-like mount for faster but less controlled travel. My biggest concern with underwater content is the combat, they would need to do a **big** rework to make it as enjoyable as land combat.
  14. Yeah It's a bit strange to think the End of Dragons wouldn't be the end of GW2 since it's whole focus has been dragons for it's entire existence. But I think that's the point, There's only so many dragons we can go trough and after so many years I think it'll be nice to move on to something different in terms of story.
  15. I don't mind strong mobs just not everywhere with a huge agro radius. I love to explore but when you have to constantly stay on the move or die Is when I think it takes away from the map.
  16. Stuns and Knockdowns can be removed with a Sunbreak skill or prevented entirely by the Stability Boon. In your utilities skills you should have a couple stun breaks available to choose from. All the ways each class can get Stability: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Stability All the Sunbreak skills/traits: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Stun_break
  17. We're reaching almost a year since it's announcement. Hopefully they're keeping quiet on it because they want to bundle it with the expansion release and not because they've tabled it....
  18. I like your ideas of an underground map, I hope we get one before/if primordus dies. What I really want though is an Underwater map, I'm hopeful that EoD will bring one. Underwater is something that's under utilized in GW2, I understand why they haven't done much with it because most players aren't a fan of the underwater combat system but If they tweaked that then I'd love to see a full large map that's almost entirely underwater. There's just so much potential there that's waiting to be tapped into. **Locations:** There's just so much you could do here. You could have Largos' home city, Krait and Quaggan's original territory, you could even introduce new races like sirens and give them some islands of the coast of cantha. Or explore the locations of the Kraken and Leviathans. **Navigation:** Since your essentially free flying trough the entire map I would suggest Introducing a new mount similar to griffon that could navigate faster in deep waters. You could give it the same dive/pull up mechanics to gain momentum so skimmer is more useful in shallow waters where you can't dive too far. **Metas:** The Kraken could be fought on a fleet of ships or The Leviathans in the depths in the unending ocean.
  19. Bank space extension is only for Gems Your Bag space you have bag slots along the left side of your inventory and the bags in those slots determine the number of spaces for items, You can get them many ways but quickest is to buy the ones with the most spaces within your budget on the TP. The game has a lot of Junk/useless items that just take up space so remember to empty those out frequently, Most are labelled trophy and you can type /wiki in game to check anything if your not sure if you should throw it away or not. I completely understand feeling lost, for a new players there's a lot to learn and get used to. I'd suggest just starting a new character and doing the personal story. Maybe check out a beginners guide on youtube too?

Dwarves could use norn voice lines and Largos talk like humans with a distorted filter. But for something like Tengu who have a distinct voice you would have to have no voice lines for all past content or retcon their accent to be the same as a preexisting one we already have because rerecording every single line from the past 8 years would be a huge and expensive task just to add in a playable race. > > The same goes for armors and outfits. Do you have any suggestions for not breaking story continuity as well? I do get that accents and ambient dialogue voice lines are an issue (etc.) and this is a similar problem to what I mentioned about recreating a whole backstory for the race's inclusion into the game to justify it's presence. But the focused discussion I'd like to have is "how can the story work" instead of more technical issues. If we're going by just the story then I assume it'd be pretty easy to implement the friendly races like Largos, Skritt, Quaggan and others that already exist around the world during the personal story, They could have unique dialog like slyvari do in heart of thorns to help gel them in better, maybe some ambient dialog lines added in here and there. The other races like dwarves who aren't around and thought to be extinct at that time or the Exalted who weren't even discovered yet, Probably not an option since you'd have to rework story from Heart of thorns for the Exalted and Season 3 for the Dwarves.
  21. Nope, the vermillion are the only feathered ones with the animations so far.
  22. Story is one issue, but I think the biggest issue with adding in a new race is voice acting and armor/outifts. If a Race can't reuse voice lines then I personally would think it ends there. If they can't reuse them then again it's a huge amount of work to recreate them. again I think Dwarves could reuse Norn and Largos human. If the game had the resources to redo all these things for a single race to be added I'd say go for it but they don't. there's plenty of parts of the game that are already put on the back burner that would be a much better use of time and money.
  23. While I like the idea, I think retroactively updating every past skin would be too much work. Maybe have it exclusive to legendary skins?
  24. It's a currency just like any other tied to a game mode. If you want some of that currency you're going to have to play that game mode, Just like how you need to do for Fractals, WvW or PvP. I do think raids could be made more appealing to more of the player base since I see people wanting the Insights/divinations but not being able to get into the game mode for various reasons. But that's a whole other topic.
  25. I think you just got Lucky. I've put countless hours into WvW and very rarely do I get an ascended drop, Last time I got an ascended drop was probably two months ago.
