It should've been left alone or buffed a bit, also removing piercing from a bow? Where's the logic in that? Second, axes were uncomfortable to use, at least to me, but now? Not even going to consider that being an option since I think it might be less enjoyable now.
I love the Ranger profession and this is a very pleasant update for me.
While my condition build wasn't affected, my power build actually got several nice buffs.

Two-Handed Training also grants Fury when you a disable a foe with **any** weapon.

The negativity and bias is delicious; artfully aged like a fine whine.

Actually, it's the third most expensive. ;)
The Superior Sigil of Karka Slaying is still the most expensive, followed by the Superior Sigil of Concentration.

Oh, I agree. I'm fully expecting something along the lines of three to five bullet points.
Still, small suprise updates make me happy.

I will be perfectly honest: I'm a grown male, and I yipped when I read this. Thank you, Systems Team!

Yes! Yes! Yes!
I've made three of them so far, and it's slightly annoying that the only other option is the Phantasm weapons.

That is a good point, but I was actually referring to insurance covering dragons and dragon-related incidents.

While I can see why some might believe Aurene's visions show her being branded, I actually believe otherwise.
To me, it looks as if Kranky Kralk is branding the area around her, causing her to impaled on or encased in Crystal. As such, he's not branding her but outright killing her.

Dragon insurance is going to be a bit pricey soon.

I actually mostly tested this event just walking, with no swiftness and no abilities. It's... harder, and sadly less fun, but it IS possible. The problem is if I tune it down any more, then it becomes boring with the use of any abilities. If people have more notes on classes that feel particularly difficult, though, it's good to know.

> For people who found it easy - I'm curious if you are able to do it with the nuisance buff that causes her to shoot you more quickly. (You can get it by being the NIO when you enter the instance - just have the IO hang back while you challenge yourself. Full disclosure: that one might not be possible for some classes :P)
Challenge accepted, sir!

If you're planning on using a Thief, Shortbow #5 would be very effective. I think.

While I sympathize with those who have difficulty with the content, I must admit I find this instance laughably easy.
Condi Soulbeast with no movement abilities, and I got the timed achievement first try.
I'm unsure how ANet can make something like this easier without trivializing it for a majority of players.
-
Any class can do it easily enough, if you have enough burst damage for when you reach her.
The structures provide enough cover, since you just have to break LoS and she'll reset her aim.

One word: Possums.

As long as ANet stops adding a new map **every single episode**, I will be happy.

The pyramids were actually landing pads for giant alien ships, of a race who enslaved our ancestors!
_Didn't actually watch the video, but that **IS** a Stargate on the thumbnail._ B)

It doesn't have a buttcape...

There's something wrong with you animals. I love it.
-
You can also use mainland sword and offhand dagger, though sword only has the one condition skill.

_Looks at all six designs for humans. Blinks._
Excuse me a moment while I get my party hat and boom box.

I believe they're referencing the five professions from Prophecies that were brought over.
Warrior, Ranger, Mesmer, Elementalist, and Necromancer.

Construction of the Great Northern Wall began in 898 AE, and was finished before the start of the Third Guild War, which started in 1013 AE. For reference, the Searing and the Charr invasion was 1070 AE.

It's always depended on what a player's personal build was. However, I will attempt to address your points in the previous post.
Neither longbow nor Shortbow had their piercing trait removed; the patch simply added piercing to the harpoon gun when traited. Axes have not changed at all, aside from a 0.66% critical damage nerf. The only serious nerf is the loss of +15% attack speed, something I believe should've been inherent to the weapon anyway.
