You have no idea how Mag works now but as I said earlier you are holding onto this tired narrative that they are the same as they were in the past. lol. The pattern hasn’t changed. I’ve seen it. I was actually on that server for a while and experienced it first hand. The other issues, however, are actually more of a problem.
  4. lol scared? I doubt it. But this is more really about the apparent inability of our game host to manage “balance”. Relinking then allowing people to bandwagon off and recreate unbalanced pops immediately is nothing short of ridiculous. THAT is the true issue here.

  7. To me this is yet another example of poor linking management as well as a complete failure to manage bandwagoning in any way. I don’t have a myriad of ideas on that other than making it almost impossible to transfer for at least the first couple of weeks, or more, after relinks. People just flip around immediately after relink to linked servers etc. Nothing can be done about the intentional tanking that some servers, like the one in this instance does though.

  11. My earliest was going in with two of my friends not knowing what the place was. We got destroyed by some player with our bad pve builds, which weren’t even to be considered builds. I didn’t go back for a few months until I learned more about wvw.

Unskilled players kill? If you aren’t a skilled player you aren’t going to kill anyone that has skill. I eat most rangers of any flavour if they aren’t real good. I’m not the best player by far but I know my class very well. Oh ya, I play soulbeast exclusively. My fave thing is to plow down other rangers who give experienced rangers a bad name. Anyone can learn to do burst damage, and anyone can learn how to deal with it. The key is knowing when to hit and when to duuuck. My personal favourite is when someone ganks me from behind but I still manage to hit invul. That few seconds usually gets them killed because, well, they’re on cool down. My squads keep me IN because I run some share and get tons of downs, but it makes me insane to see how many people use this class without USING IT properly!

  16. The current skill is all but useless. I find it doesn’t really affect me when I’m in it, and it’s super easy to avoid. My warrior is shelved now. My new 2nd class choice is rev.
  17. haha. They nerfed the golem runes very well. Takes half of a barrage to kill one now. Yes they are now totally useless imo. Fodder for my arrows.

It was easy enough to avoid before. Now it’s not even an issue, for me anyway. Small melee fights I can see a use if you can keep the person(s) in the bubble. Other than that to me it’s all but useless.

  21. sigh... balance patches are never that anyway. It’s a little nerf here, a little buff there. Whatever they think it is that the loudest people here want. Then on to the next set of complaints for the next “balance” patch.

A simple toy that’s easy to destroy and gives zero help to anything. Multiple dragon banners in a group, on the other hand, is a pain. One is also really nothing to care about, but I’ve seen many times where there were 3 or 4 in an opposing group. Now THAT is called planning, and good on them for doing it. But it’s nasty to deal with. I’m glad they are now restricted to the structure.
