  1. Combat tonic is likely. Definitely more believable than Tengu. They're just squat Norns.

  3. My only problems with the game is in this order: Mount skins being overpriced. Sun's Refuge oversold by Anet and setting that overselling precedent for minute content. Build Loadouts being OVERPRICED. EVERY Icebrood Saga crafting collection being a heaving gold sink on par with legendaries, with NONE of the benefits. Champions being awfully implemented. Anet likes hearing proposed solutions. Every solution to these problems is common sense.
  4. Going back to do that really isn't worth it. Not without sacrificing new content. The best we can get is them making older content replayable as it is, with the unlikely possibility of adding rewards to it.
  5. Someone complained on the forums about having the ability to buy mastery experience points. This is how they can do that.
  6. Any "new" weapon will be introduced as a different way to use a weapon in an elite spec. Daredevil and Rev using staff as melee weapons.
  7. Like when PoF was announced, I made sure all my classes were ready to purchase the full elite specs. That way I can enjoy the classes in full with the content it was released in. As usual, I'll try to 100% **Living World** episodes as they come out. However, Icebrood Saga will have a lot of hard passes. 50 Cold Wars? No thank you. I try to 100% everything (no thank you, raids) since Season 2. Honorary Crew Member is impossible in a dead map. If I don't get hard carried in this stuff, I'll never complete these ridiculous things from the strain of not falling asleep. As for the account itself, I'm just getting ready for when new legendaries release and better methods to get legendary armor and the rest of the trinkets.

The only thing they made work with it was those novelties that are around your head.

  10. Dye has secret nerfs as they add newer armor and looks. Brighter and darker dyes are more effective on older stuff, but look bland on newer things.
  11. I think mounts should be allowed in all JPs. Add a challenge mote in the beginning of them to deactivate mounts, gliders, portals and kits to get bonus rewards.

Instead of having more people to help, you have less people actually doing things while these people leech rewards. If the maps didn't have a player cap it would not matter, but since they do, leeching players do matter. Less people doing things will make the metas even longer to complete. > > Everything scales though and AFK players don’t count towards that. DRM mobs scale with the number of players in the event area. It used to be the map, but people can still afk and not participate and still scale up the mobs and champ just by being close.

As it stands, the only way to do that is to deliberately run outside the area and trigger this timer thing. (That is, remember that if they make it impossible to do it by accident, they also make it impossible to do it on purpose.) Definitely annoying that there are some instances that make it impossible to leave because of that. I usually have to character select to leave. At least I like how newer content lets you click on the portals on the minimap to let you leave.
  14. They need to put you back into the map, not out of the instance. Ever.
  15. I can't get enough karma. I want to buy every unique item from hearts and collection vendors.
  16. Things were steady in hype and looking up as we approached the end of Season 4 followed by an expected expansion. It was okay that they announced they wanted to do another season since it would allow more time to make the expansion even better. Season 3 and 4 were quality so why not another season? Unfortunately the Icebrood Saga's way of doing things was a drop in quality. No new map every episode. No episodic legendaries to keep farmers interested. Grinding and gold sinks for the worst of collections that make mount gold sinks look tame. It is the wrench in content flow and design that stopped GW2's acceleration. Anet wanted to take the best parts of LW1 and make it work for this season. It certainly feels like LW1 again in the way that this game looks like it could flop.

They may try but maybe it would be better to do the 6 month model like Cryptic. I always thought it was weird to have these design teams (what was it over the years 3,4,5?) who work on an episode each and leapfrog to the next one. From the DRMs released to lukewarm reviews and EOD likely in a year I think we're seeing every poor decision catch up to them. > Using Cryptic as a point of reference only works when you are using it as a prime example of what not to do.
  18. Advertising Champions as four separate releases, when in reality it is actually just one episode split up into four parts spread across half a year. They didn't see Sun's Refuge poor advertising as a flop, but as a legit success. It makes sense why they keep doing this. We are supposed to get a meaningful content patch every 2-3 months, but Champions is hurting the ratio so much that it looks like one release every half a year. Really making the doomers look legit here. End of Dragons better be phenomenal! The kind of level that makes me not even consider playing other games.
  19. Anet is asking too much of players again when it comes to crafting weapons. The rate of getting this new material is awful and the drop rate of those weapons that have an MP behind it is just the flies on that sht cake.
  20. This method is the most optimized way to get them. It just depends on your tolerance to farm every day for months to get a full set. You're better off building up your crafting and making the stuff yourself. You will burn out in Strike missions before you get your first pieces.
  21. That one story instance in HoT is pretty awful with the rabbit trial especially. Good god it is the worst. Not to mention some people crash every time they get to the end. As for everything else, Mounts change everything in the game. If you don't like most of HoT exploration I recommend you collect all the mounts you can and get masteries to make exploration easy.
  22. Every expansion has been phenomenal, so 2 out of three isn't bad. However considering Champions, if it is bad then it is a sure sign of decline. Splitting up one episode release into small meaningless parts with no map, while hyping it as full releases is sleezy. It is easily worse than Sun's Refuge. I don't have hope anymore. If Champions doesn't turn around and EoD becomes a disappointment, it might as well be an end to Guild Wars 2.
  23. It is possible you have something active that is effecting the stance. Whenever you weapon swap, sheathe, get effected by a skill nullifying CC, it disables the Kneel state.
  24. These kind of reports go to the team directly. Report it every time it happens so they can get the situational data to find out what the problem is.
