It's good that a core class is still strong and viable in PvP.
Unfortunately, that is not the case for most classes. But as long as they are not overpowered then this is a good thing.
I always get upset when I see Core Necros and ask whether they are high or just stupid for not picking Scourge or Reaper.

Please vote "Yes" in the Poll for 5vs5 GvsG Ladder system (in addition and completely separate from solo/Duo que Ranked system currently in place.
You would have 5vs5 on demand, probably a 10 minute wait, but definitely worth it.
-
It's not too late. It should be implemented in the next expansion!
-
What would be great about this, is that ANET would not have to develop any new maps to be used. The only concept that would need to be developed is how Guilds participation would work and influence a ladder system to climb and fall.
Would massing games be the best way to keep a top 25 spot, or would the competition that is played matter more.
-
Would your Guild participate in a 5vs5 ladder that is completely separate from the current ranked solo/Duo que ladder?
Guild vs Guild 5vs5 would utilize the current PvP template system with Runes and Amulets to make the game easier to balance.
Similar to the Original Guildwars 1 ladder system where Guilds could invite their friends to play with them. Of course only one Guild could be represented and climb the ladder at one time for all players involved.
Unfortunately. I don't think we will ever receive new PvP content with new maps for GvsG 8vs8 or 10vs10.
However, I would love to implement the current Ranked 5vs5 maps for a brand new Guild 5vs5 ladder system.
Honestly, I don't understand why this has not been implemented already. It's in the name of Guild Wars, so let's make it happen!

You definitely have to bring Spectral Ring to try and benefit more from Terrifying Descent.
The real power of Fear is interrupting the enemy and then dropping a Shade on top of the enemy when they can do nothing about it.
Normally, dropping a shade will immediately cause torment and trigger demonic lore . The only way Garish pillar would trigger Demonic lore a Second time, is if you wait 3 seconds after you drop a Shade and Fear triggers.
This would be hard to do, but it is possible that it will happen accidentally as Garish pillar may come off cooldown 3 seconds after the first Shade is dropped.

Honestly. All ANet needs to do is start a GvG ladder that is completely separate from solo que that utilizes the 5vs5 format and maps currently being used.
This would be extremely popular and would make Guilds more involved with an actual Leaderboard for Guilds that play PvP.
Just like in the original Guild Wars 1.
Why this has not been implemented yet is absolutely mind boggling.

Well this is about optimizing a PvP Scourge build.
I suppose if someone could elaborate why the 2 conditions transferring "Plague Sending" when shroud is first used is better than "Terrifying Descent" in more situations would be helpful too.
That is usually the reason why a certain skill/trait is considered to be more efficient in more different scenarios.
But I definitely forgot about the corrupt of stability turning into Fear as another option.

Currently , Curses 2-2-1
Soul reaping 2-2-3
Scourge 3-3-2
Is what I consider to be Meta Curses Scourge.
I want to know if selecting Curses 1-2-1 would be worth it for Terrifying Descent.
I'm tempted to start using this skill based on only the additional torment when Fear skills activate.
However, if there are other ways to activate "lesser fear", then a Scourge Curses build would have access to a third Fear skill. Staff 5 or Scourge Shade 3 "Garish Pillar" are currently the only 2 ways I know to Trigger fear.
Are there any other ways to trigger fear on foes like the skill "Spectral Ring"?
-
The Curses trait "Plague sending" is currently considered meta for Curses Scourge damage builds.
However, I have been trying Terrifying Descent which causes Fear to cause additional Torment. It also synergizes well with Demonic Lore where Torment causes additional burning.
My main question is there any other way to activate "lesser fear" besides falling down on an opponent when Terrifying Descent is selected ?
Is falling down on an opponent from a greater height the only way to activate "lesser Fear"?
Is there another way to activate "Lesser Fear" perhaps by using knockdown skills with torch skill 5?

ANET. Please fix Renegade. Completely delete Renegade so bad players can't pick this specialization in Ranked PvP. Thanks. That is all.

I'm sure this was a stealth hit to stop botters from ruining the game. I'm sorry logging onto multiple accounts is now more time intensive.

No question, the Roaring Dragon chest was much more valuable/profitable with Spectral and Pact Fleet weapons dropping.
Crimson Lion and Dragon Jade are almost not worth using your hard earned Black lion keys for.
I sincerely hope you obtained the Roaring Dragon glider 2 weeks ago. It looks like the drop rate from 145 keys only yielded 8 rares/uncommon items.
It looks like it takes on average 18 keys to obtain 1 uncommon/rare drop. Yikes! Probably the worst drop rate I have seen in a long time.
-
Yes of course we do.
But I would rather just have the return of 5vs5 Ranked ladder for exclusive Guild vs Guild ladder.
Although it would be awesome to develop new 8vs8 maps or 10vs10 maps, I would be perfectly fine with using the 5vs5 maps that we have now.
Realistically, I don't think ANET is willing to devote the time or energy to develop a new PvP system, despite having the best combat mechanics in any RPG ever. It's a joke that a game called Guild Wars 2 does not actually have Guild Vs Guild battles implemented somewhere in the game.

Are you saying that endurance food on dodge is actually useful for Roamers in WvW?
Because in PvE Raids or fractals it is pretty useless.

Well. Sounds like selling my mystic coins is the way to go.
Funny how the game changes. Saved those coins over 2 years wow.
I was just surprised when the old receipes no longer worked and even dulfy website was not updated with it.
-
I already tried buying 100 minor sigils of snowfall and mischief, only to discover the Old Mystic Forge Receipes no longer work.
I have even checked wiki and it looks like buying them straight of the trading post is the most efficient way to obtain these superior sigils.
Thanks!
-
With the changes to sigils, it looks like the most efficient way to get 50 superior snowfall or mischief runes is to buy them off the Trading post.
Funny, I anticipated saving 1000 mystic coins for making wintersday presence. Now I'm considering selling half of the coins to have enough gold to buy the sigils.
I'm asking whether this would be the most efficient way to get the sigils now in 2018-2019.
Thanks for your help! I only have 2 charms of brilliance so crafting more than 1 superior snowfall is not possible.

Anyone that AFK's after the first battle is not only a Newb, but also an idiot.
-
To Afkers, it is possible to come back when you're 100 points down.
And if you are AFKing, you are probably the reason your team was losing in the first place. You are that Bad.

Does taking Vital Persistance now improve barrier percent by +10% on just the Necro or the entire team that receives Barrier.
Techically, barrier % is effected by healing power.
-
Please fix this. I have wanted to play new PvP content for years, and now I can't even join the 2v2 tournament when it's available.
-
Necro revive is the counter to Ranger and Deadeye Sniper burst meta.
Just focus the necro first, which most players do already. Stop whining and get better.
-
Obtained the desert throne after 80 keys. I was not happy took it that many. But it is to be expected that it does take 60 keys or more to get the uncommon exclusive items sometimes.

This sounds fantastic. I remember when gliding was added to WvW and how much more fun the game mode became from one simple addition.
WvW gets plenty of love and attention, in comparison to PvP.
