  1. Two people can take a T-3 tower, 3-4 a keep. Having supply from one person being enough to fully build siege isn’t an answer that will work.
  2. Also.. I would continue to watch the LFG for bounty trains. It’s not perfect, but it is doubtful that Anet will change this any time soon. At least you would get it completed. Good luck.

It took me a moment to figure it all out in the Logitech software, but once I got it, presto. OMG now I can have all mounts bound to my mouse. SO EXCITED lol. Very cool! I randomly lost mine yesterday after 2 years.. well, just the 1-5 skills. I would suggest saving the profile if your mouse software allows it. Glad I could help.
  5. Have a 20 button razor mouse. I went into the mouse software and bound the keys to letters on the keyboard. I then assigned those letters to the skill buttons in GW2. So.. my ‘1’ key on the mouse triggers letter Y, which is bound to skill ‘1’. And so on..

I prefer playing support instead of dps during blob fights but I switch to ranger for roaming. It’s harder on support FB, but others can note what is needed. Certainly you will be welcome in any squad (except closed guild raids) so that should help.

I would add that if you run with a Zerg, bring a build that allows for tagging multiple enemies, but also sits mostly within the meta. This will allow you to be included in the Zerg by commanders and decreases your chances of getting pulled out. That build could easily be one of the scourge builds, or a Herald. There are others, but generally you will get a spot in most open squads. This will lead to more heavy loot bags and other drops. Second thing is to tag the guards of any structure you pass. This will increase your WxP leading to rank gains, and rank chests.. Get most nodes you come across. With a scourge build, it can be easy to be left behind, but this is less of a problem with mounts. Lastly, enjoy it.... Have fun in WvW. Join discord (or teamspeak), even if you don’t talk, the banter can be both annoying and funny. Don’t get offended. Honestly, this makes the ‘gold per hour’ worth it.

  16. There was no revenant in GW1. These were the classes: warrior, ranger, monk, necromancer, mesmer, elementalist, assassin, ritualist, paragon and dervish. The paragon used land spears and the dervish used scythes.

Other classes have reveals, higher hp, higher armor, barriers, more access to blocks/shields, invulnerability skills and other defensive skills and in gw2 even other classes have access to teleports( rangers,guards,mesmer,ele,necro, rev etc) and also stealth( ranger,mesmer,guards with trappers etc) the real issue is rogue's are just generally disliked by the players who dont play them due to their universal playstyle, which is why the rogue complaining is the same on every mmo forum. I spent a lot of time jumping into whole mob of enemies (high rated at that), murder someone quickly and get away. Every time. Unthinkable in GW2 even with suicide thief. Once again, the community should really blame themselves for having so many thieves ruining their roaming experience - you guys are the one who kick thieves from zergs thus forcing them into roaming solo existence. Some thieves switched to something zerg friendly, other perfected their roaming builds and skills. There are plenty of classes and builds that can easily deal with builds BUT most people don't run them because they prefer to zerg. And then they complain about thieves.   18. You dint need to ‘overstock’’ to take T3 keeps. 10 tiers would be a nightmare for groups that actually want to play. If you actually want to ‘delink’ then delete the lower servers at the next relink and just make them a part of the server they went to.

  21. Most of the ‘stable’ servers with a community left are host servers and listed at full. There may he one or two links that maintain a core group of guilds that may play during your normal play hours, I might suggest listing what hours you normally play and there may be a guild or two who message you that might meet your goals.

And in order to help him, he or she should understand the basic or underlying system (open minded, unbiased). Everything else comes afterwards ... one way, this or another. :) And the chart will not look any different until it is officially updated (which is usually done weekly). The fact that "populations" will be moving until then is not necessarily relevant to his concern (initially). While being open minded is important, if they transfer prior to the bandwagon, based on activity, and that bandwagon leaves the server they moved to, they get stuck on a dead link. Waiting until the aftermath, if they are determined to transfer, at least they get a few weeks of decent play.
