    First you said 30k burns in 2 seconds, then you said "Yeah I could have cleansed, but I didn't expect to die, was going to wait til it stacks before I cleanse"

    There are alot of issues with this, firstly if you could've cleansed and didn't, no matter what, thats a misplay if it ended up in your death, regardless of the number of conditions on you.

    Second off, with basic game knowledge you know that Burning has a higher base condition damage value than Bleeding or Torment does, so less stacks will equal more damage, giving you less time to make that decision to cleanse or not.

    Thirdly, you can't wait to cleanse burns that are ticking for 15k a tick (if they were, which they were not mind you.) and they would not "reapply" as much or as fast. The only thing left over after a Weaver puts that many burns on someone, in the IDEAL scenario, is flame wall and auto attack damage/conditions.

     

    The death recap will show you irrelevant numbers, people have died with numbers that show you've taken 100k damage, does that mean you took 100k damage right as you died? No.

     

    You said Bull's Charge has a long CD to warrant the long CC? So does Gale and Weave Self, infact both are longer recharge than Bull's Charge is.

    In order to take as much damage as you did, in 2 seconds, is close to impossible, and means you ate multiple ticks of double fire Primordial Stance, all of Glyph(or signet of fire which is 100x easier to mitigate and dodge mind you), and Pyro Vortex. So hats off to you for eating that much damage and still somehow thinking it's not your fault that you died.

     

    Also Fire Weaver's potential to 1v2 (good players) is very low. If you 1v2 bad players, thats a completely different arguement, and every sidenoder (yes EVERY) is capable of 1v2ing bad players.

    Even the best Fire Weaver will not kill anything, any class in 3 seconds.

  2. Weaver's burning application sucks outside of Pyro Vortex(which is balanced), Pri Stance, and Glyph. Even Lava Skin isn't that strong, because of the duration being so low.

    Do not touch something like fire 2, or fire 3.

     

    Currently they are as strong without duration, as they should be in my opinion with 50%+ duration. Half their current burn durations.

    No, prenerf Boonbeast would just kill it 1v1, so it wasn't viable.

    I wouldn't touch Core Ele with a 10 foot pole, but I'd probably play D/F Lightning Rod, not core FA.

     

    Warrior, Thief, and Necro are easily above the rest, with Ranger, Guardian, Mes, and Rev not too far below those. Do yourself a favor and don't even think about playing Core Engi or Ele though.

    Anet has multiple discords with players they often take feedback and fix bugs from. Previously SC had some Devs in their more private discord, not sure about anymore, same with sPvP and WvW.

    Pros and Cons, more range, less boons. Less range, more boons. This is good balancing, stop raging about it.

  7. The only reason Staff Thief isn't and wasn't widely known as being meta and still isn't is because we didn't have any major tournaments until very recently. The more real games that happen, the more you'll see it and understand.

  8. We're in a pretty good spot in the meta, there are only a couple of major outliers.

    Condi Daredevil outshines its brother S/D Core by alot right now, they should be brought in line with the latter.

    Staff Daredevil breaks conquest entirely right now, to the point where most comps will run 1 or even 2, resembles the meta shifting power Power Chrono had a while back.

    Fire Weaver is very spammy right now with Glyph of Elemental Power being ran, it'd be in a much better spot nerfing that skill.

    Tactics Core War's insane modifier should either be slightly toned down, or changed to where the 50% extra damage is only put on the actual barrier, rather than normal HP as well. Bull's Charge could stand to be changed.

    For ranked Tools Holosmith is still as dominant as always.

    Condi Mirage is in a pretty good spot, I think it should be left as is (i understand its not fun to fight against, but its not OP right now)

    I think slight buffs to Soulbeast should be done, the Axe/Axe Sword/WH build got hit really hard, and Ranger is easily the worst class in all of sPvP right now.

  9. Condi Thief is only "strong" if you don't understand how conditions work. Conditions work in the last in first out method, last condition you got, first condition to get cleansed *ALWAYS*

    Just because a Condi Thief gives you 10 poison, cripple, torment, and bleeding doesn't mean its buried under those other "cover condis" if they hit you with an auto with Spider Venom up, or with anything with Deadly Ambition's new rework coming soon, they will apply another stack of poison, now meaning it is the first condition to be removed *ALWAYS*. That 11 poison you now have will be removed over those 3 or more other cover condis. It is very easy to take advantage of this feature in the game versus many things, esp vs Condi Thief.

  10. Weakness seems like it's an issue mainly because of how powercrept the game is; Holo (and other classes) have permanent Vigor enabling a ton of its self sustain but with Weakness, Vigor doesn't do anything.

     

    Glancing blows are probably designed pretty poorly, but it's fine.

    Just stow. :) That trait doesn't seem too strong if you play around it? It's rupts, not dazes/stuns.
