  1. They do as said with the ticket process and there's some authentication info you need to provide before they do.

Edit: I think the only thing they won't change is your account name. There may be circumstances they may make you change it if it violates policy.

Nobody cared about taking a few minutes longer than some "optimal" time, nobody cared about the gear anyone else had, everybody was grown up enough to understand that losing/dying in a computer game wasn't the end of the world. Generally just everything felt more chill there. Which in turn let me experiment with builds in peace. Maybe at the cost of a few extra deaths, but who's counting? =)

Again a lot of PvE you can do in white gear. In WvW putting time into your gear can impact how your fights turn out. And not saying zerker, saying gear that fits what you are doing and how you play. Be that full zerk or full tank or anywhere inbetween. AIs are somewhat predictable, but players.....anything might go.

Same. I have one set of Ascended/Legendary gear with one set of stats, runes, sigils. I may alter my build to suit a particular playstyle but I am tired of chasing the meta.

I love watching all the zerkers die to Mega Destroyer from a one shot that is dodgeable then proceed to /laugh.

    > That means losing out on 10% duration though, as the poison and bleeding specific ones give 20%. Assuming you haven't hit the cap, of course. Given that I'm on exotic gear (Carrion stats, no Expertise i.e. no +duration%), I'm far from the 100% cap. Rune of the Krait will give another 45% for bleeding, leaving me at 65% total, and I think that's the most +duration% I'll have. Poison will be simply at +20%. (There's some specialization trait bonuses, but I've read that those apply to the base duration and don't count towards the +duration% limit.)

Is your class core or do you have the HoT xpac? Have you looked at Viper stats?

Edit: I see in the op you mentioned Daredevil so you have HoT?

  4. I'm going to try and answer unless someone else chimes in. The price difference is mostly relative to sPvP and WvW.

NPC's don't move all that much unless you kite them. They also don't cleanse conditions, so duration isn't much of a factor in PvP because it almost gets cleansed immediately and then reapplied. Vicious circle there.

PvP players will go for higher condition damage and burst. Usually run Superior Sigil of Corruption and Bursting together.

Poison is more effective than Bleeding due to it, iirc, 33% less healing effectiveness.

Torment had some nerfs to it lately. Not sure where it stands now effectively.

I'm not arguing your op. Just threw that out there as to why they are AB after purchase.

  6. My AMD setup and dual SLI video cards is what caused me to have 10 fans(and a floor fan) to keep it cool.

When I upgraded to an Intel chip(4core) all my cooling problems went away. I run a single video card, can drop to 12-15 fps in some instances and have **no** issues playing.

Edit: Remember this is a 2012 game running DX9. To me anything above the requirements of what ArenaNets says is needed to play the game is a waste of money unless you play other games.

    Edit 2: My computer specs.

    > I am considering the HP pavilion with the intel i7 cpu at the moment.

They are not that difficult to build. Components come with very good documentation for installation. Your biggest concern to watch for when buying the components is compatibility, what works best with each piece.

Starting with CPU>Mobo>Ramm>Vid Card>HDD. After that, what is the best OS to run it.

You will be hard pressed to find a pre built system that includes everything you want. When you start adding in changes, the price goes up.

Whenever I upgrade, I am always one step behind of the latest and greatest because the previous always drops in price.
