Sir Alric.5078
So they used an already existing outfit as the model for the new one. And? What is the problem? To me they look different enough to be called separate outfits. Besides, it's not like you have to buy it if you don't want to so, again, what's the problem? Dante.1763
And yet..i love the way it looks compared the gem aura outfit, how strange that is.
NanoEliteSixSixSix.8935
Meh, and the Flamewhatever armor skins are retextures of existing armor sets with extra fiery bits. Not like this isn't something they've done before. I'd say the new outfit has enough going on to distunguish it from the other one well enough
Randulf.7614
Really is not even close to being an issue than needs raising
Fenom.9457
With close to 100 outfits in game, there will be some overlap no matter what

Inculpatus cedo.9234
Hmm. They don't look the same to me. One has a short coat, the other long. Different shirts/vests. Etc. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gem_Aura_Outfit https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Frostfire_Outfit
Raknar.4735
They don't look the same to me, either. They have the same style, skin tight with crystal-like adornments, yet the overall aesthetic is different.
StellarFox.1462
They look equally different. The style is similar though. But the Frostfire Outfit has a a long coat. The concept seems similar, they have a couple similarities. But they dont look the same for me.
Esterie.7409
They're thematically similar in regards to the crystal/glow bits, but other than being form-fitting and the pattern on the legs/waist being vaguely pointed/diamond-shaped, I think they're different enough to stand apart. Especially since the new outfit has a pretty different dye setup.
Donari.5237
They may be built on the same base. You see that in weapons, too. Example, greatswords have a whole line of surfboards and of flat flare tips. Warhorns are almost always a massive curved L with a bell mouth. Etc. I believe there are technical reasons why they have to mostly stay in their templates.
Obtena.7952
I don't get the shock of the OP ... it's not the first time, it won't be the last. Personally, I don't see the problem here to begin with.
Trise.2865
They're both tight body suits. The only similarity is your wings.
AgentMoore.9453
There are enough fundamental differences in the design, shape, textures, and particles for me to conclude that these outfits are not based on each other. Think of it more like the same tailor crafting two different garments - this is probably the work of the same outfit artist and nothing more. Sovari.7246
I would like the outfit to be bundled with a light touch outfit extra maybe a skirt version or shows a little more skin
