  1. The game doesnt need to be balanced. It needs frequent updates to keep the meta interesting.
  2. Every time i climb ranked i hate every minute of it. Memeing in unranked is the true pvp experience
  3. Bring a sb thief w/ sword dagger. Deadly arts, shadow arts and trickery. Dont even need damage just get skelk venom and basilisk and spam poison and boon rip. Run a healbreaker with hammer and sigil of absorbtion and winds of disenchantment. Switch any sigil for sigil of doom.

  5. High hp ranger would be fine but they would need to reduce some damage and access to regen and protection
  6. Depends in how you build them. Guardian is a team fighter with excellent damage mitigation options and boon output. Rev has the benefit of double the utilities and 2 heals, but needs affective management of energy. They can have good mobility and damage mitigation, but lack the condi removal and boon output that guardian provides.

Sorry i assumed you dont know how to play. It might be braindead but its not a bad mechanic. Spammable teleport is a bad mechanic though. I dont play thief often so I guess I am a no trick pony.
  9. People complained about thief mobility. CMC addressed it in the only way he is allowed. Expect more stupid nerfs in the future.
  10. Sounds like someone is mad that they blew all their cd's and had nothing left to defend vs thief. Honestly, if you knew how to use terrain thief wouldnt be an issue. Try learning the game before complaining about something within your control
  11. Give core ele double minor effects and innate lingering elements for 5s
  12. They got rid of almost every amulet with toughness because support healing was too effective. The game would still work fine if support builds were heavily nerfed to uselessness
  13. If they removed support healing and boon generation its possible to have something similar. They undervalued field combos with powercreep. Field combos made the game feel more dynamic and worthwhile. Now its just another aoe on the field.

  15. it would make traitlines useless since they are tied to that attunement. No sense going fire traitline if you choose air and water. To me it makes more sense that one weapon has 2 elements you can switch between and swapping weapons gives access to the other two

Not uncommon for me to crit 6k with burning speed. Overload air, switch to fire, burning speed, switch to air before it hits. It requires running out of fights to heal up, but i havent had anyone capable of keeping up with me in mobility. It can be countered by boonrip and heavy condi application
  17. Thief did good damage while also being able to reset fights if they made a misstep. Anet overnerfed them. The should of just touched mobility and shadow arts and left the damage alone.

  19. You dont need to play a meta build to outplay people. Honestly i think a ranger has a high skill ceiling while pet managment makes it a bit more complicated. They have the capability to hit quite hard with decent mobility and escape options. Ive seen greatsword/lb soulbeasts who use zerker amulet poop all over people with their high damage

Swap barrier from invigorating strikes with the endurance generation of earthen blessing. The traitlines arent defined enough, especially with tempest and weaver providing sustain options that water and earth should be providing.
