That's nice... If you happen to be willing to play that garbage. On the other hand, even if i got a permanent transmutation charge from it, i wouldn't participate. Only surprise is that anet hasn't tried to strong-ar... I mean "encourage" people to do PvP/WvW much. Although if we believe people who whine how WvW hasn't gotten any updates, i guess anet left it to rot, as it should be. If they ever decide to do some updates, you can expect to get a lot of "encouragement" to participate whether you want to or not.

Yeah, the story is really stupid. Only thing to make aurene less all consuming is a retcon or a hundred.

Nothing wrong in wanting story? True, but why is it required to enter new map? I couldn't care less about WvW/PvP but the story is trash. I have no intrest in listening to NPCs vapid one-liners and the endless comic reliefs, and the "witty banter" replacing basically everything in the story. After all, there is nothing left but "witty banter". Yes, when i play games, i want gameplay. Big shock, i'm sure.

So you want to make it so that, in order to repair damaged equipment, i would need to trade them to my character that has armorsmithing and/or weaponsmithing instead of simply using the anvil, or pay someone else for that? I'm sure you would find it fun to swindle money out of unsespecting beginners. At that point it would be like real life, so immersion would be guaranteed. Would be terrible for gameplay though.

Oh yeah, just looking up a video on how to do it or you will die is also another one of the superhuman abilities of raiders, along with doing the dance once you've done it a few times. 11. "Community", that's a good one. Community feel would be team work, but since this is an MMO, that isn't going to happen unless it improves/increases rewards, and then you would just get the raid community BS. You know, show some "skill" by proving your amazing ability to copy meta builds.

Solution: Stop paying exorbitant prices for VA, save a ridiculous fortune and use it to make a better game. How could people "relate" to a bland moron with no choices who follows blindly to what someone tells them to do regardless of their position/title, common sense, and even if the commander would say "that's a bad idea" it will be hand-waved as if the commander said nothing. The usual jargon by Taimi. If saying nothing leads to the same solution, why even bother opening your mouth? Spend that money somewhere else. Only slightly above a blank slate character that are in other games, but not by much, and only in the sense that they are more a character than just a weapon pointed at the next doomsday threat. Although they all wield the commander like a weapon regardless. I actually want to know how people can "relate" to that. Sound like the usual BS, like people "relate" to a **genocidal** villain as long as they have a sob story. Pfft...
  15. If i could turn them off, i would, and it would be beautiful. If i don't buy the next expansion, this issue had nothing to do with it.

If botters who are so obvious that a person who has never played a game before would realize that they surely can't just stand there all day, every day, and that reporting them is useless, then there can be no other explanation. Obviously anet doesn't give a kitten. I mean, i should have been permanently banned from these forums for a while now, but that hasn't happened yet since the reported posts are automatically removed, which means that the "moderators" are just bots as well. No one at anet cares one bit. Only way to get banned is being racist/sexist or something else obvious, and spreading it around a map for all to see, and even that isn't a certainty. Otherwise, nobody wants to remove a (hopefully) paying customer. > > I was referring to permanent bans being rare. People assume they're rare largely because they aren't visible. Also, the moderators aren't bots. They have a few stock accounts that they pilot to hand out moderation. They copy/paste from a script in an attempt to make the moderation as impersonal as possible. But make no mistake, they are people. Well, botters for sure are immune to perma bans. Especially since, if they even ban the account, it will be just an account that funnels profit/materials to a single account while anet gives the perpetrator a pass. Then they just make 10 new bots. Heh, would explain them having similar names and all being in the same guild since they are made by the same person(s), but that's obvious. You could say "it's not as easy as that" but that's BS. If they'd put effort into it, they could end it. They just don't. Don't worry, that is the norm in game developing. "Think of the savings!" If real people are actually looking through the reports and respondin appropriately, why am i still here? After (at least) five bans, i would expect to not be allowed to come back. Also, many times there has been nothing "offensive" with what i said, as anyone would know if they looked through the posts. Since the post got removed, i assume they simply glaze over it and automatically send a reply without caring. I mean, you could report this and it would get removed for speaking about moderating. Give it a whirl if you feel like it.

How about warrior hammer? By the time you've used all CC abilities on a group of enemies, any other melee weapon would have killed them and the next group, maybe even more. Same for maces. In PvE, they have no purpose except to break the defiance bar. Good? I guess, but i would rather use them exclusively. Besides, warrior has more than enough CC utility. Not like the bar is high enough to require more than that since they are designed for groups, and the cooldown is so long on the bar that you'll have the skills ready again before it can be broken again. > > > > > > > > > > > > You havent played fractal 100 cm I see. > > > > > > > > > > Yes, i have not, and never will. Extreme risk medium reward is the weappon as right now. Yeah, wouldn't it be nice if the CC actually made sense? Like, why would i EVER want to launch/push an enemy away from my limited melee reach? So dumb.

If I am being honest, remove Aurene from the story and you raise the stakes even more! How will the tiny humans and co deal with those Elder Dragon beasts? Remove the dragon, make a story. Easy. Baby aurene is one of the most disgusting thing i have ever seen. It not the actual appearance (although obviosly not a baby dragon. Eyes got smaller when it grew larger, cause "logic") But the fact that, as you said, it's only made to sell with the cuteness. Which is to say: Working as intended. I doubt it will die though. At most it would just leave to an unspecified place to do...something, which would be better than having an all powerful being just conveniently be somewhere else or otherwise indisposed at the time the commaned need to do heroics, because if it is around and willing to act, it will just one-shot every threat.
