    I don't think I've ever seen anyone complain about Eviscerate. Because no one ever gets hit by it. Its VERY slow, particularly for how much damage it does. I think Wastrel's Ruin (hitting non attacking foe) does more damage. And its much much faster.

    Not really, conquest was made for esports. It makes no sense other wise. Since you can't really coordinate with randoms. Conquest should be for ATs. Ranked should have a totally different game mode.

    Definitely cool to hear. I like the way spirit watch is designed. Its the only vertical designed conquest map.

    Theoretically you can sure. But the way you approach answering questions is as if the game is a 1v1 game or you are in the perfect situation were you can follow your suggested directions. In the middle of a fight were there are giant aoe circles contaminating the point, that you are trying to not get hit by, and lets say a holo try to hard cc you. While a team mate is hitting a warrior who has full counter up. You then at the corner of your eye see a Mesmer stealth and you then begin to say to yourself **1, 2, 3 dodge**.

    That is generally called a enrage timer.

    Monsters in pve don't even have the ability to kill you this quickly. Imagine if a raid boss could go invisible and randomly choose a player to one shot in a second. Everyone would be on the forums complaining. Guaranteed.

     

    Here are flaws in your argument:

     

    * Your advice is based upon as if its a 1v1. Meaning that the player expects the Mesmer is coming at some point since they do not see them. Also meaning they have all cds available and are specifically focused on getting one shot.

     

    * You don't take into consideration the other four enemies he had to deal with, who could of made him use up endurance and use stun breaker. In other words, no one is exclusively saving endurance and stun breakers just for the Mesmer.

     

    * The Mesmer is one team mate out of five and can 100-0 a opponent. Think about that for a second. This type of phenomenon doesn't even exist in pve. A Mesmer hits harder than a raid boss without the long telegraph abilities. You know like....a boss charging for 5 seconds before everyone has to run out. Or a specific phase when the entire environment changes and players know they have to do this to survive. Nope, Mesmer is doing what a raid boss does near instantly and coming out of stealth.

    What I'm looking at is the time stamp. When people say you died in 1 second, other players tend to jump on you and say no you didn't! It actually takes xx amount of seconds to respond!

     

    The screenshot is alarming and only shows what anyone with common sense knows: Damage is out of control. Guardians base health is 11k. So within one second you got hit for twice the amount of the lowest tier health. If that is not broken, then what is? Health is suppose to represent the amount of chances you have before you are defeated. Against Mesmer you only have one chance until you are defeated.

    Well druids auto isn't a ranged projectile, but a ranged channeling skill. Channeling skills can't be reflected since they aren't considered projectiles.

    Nah it means little and so does any damage reduction at this point. It might matter more after damage is toned down significantly.

    You can get spiked with having 3700+ armor. Believe me, I've tested. Armor meanings nothing because of how insanely disproportionate damage is at this time.

    Because I tested it thats why. Its also why you see naked mesmers. Its why a warrior can run around with zerker amulet and still be relatively tanky. And its why when you have max toughness you still melt as if you had a non toughness build. Put it this way, damage is so high that no matter what you wear: Light, medium or heavy armor or a toughness build. You will still melt in a second or so.

     

    Armor could be relevant again if they tone damage WAY down.

    I think you are sort of misunderstanding. You have to look at gw1 to see why they went into the direction they did with classes filling multiple roles. Basically, without a monk you couldn't pvp. So if you couldn't find one, you might be waiting for along time to find a player who was good at monking. So they removed the limitation of having to rely on a healer by making it so that all professions could be self sustainable. Nearly all professions are capable of filling different roles: Tank, healer, dps and support. But whether or not they are good as another class filling that role is a different topic.

    I'm usually very critical of anet's balance passes. But this one looks very good. Impressive. Hopefully pvp changes for the better.

    Not sure what pvp only rewards you are talking about? Also before they revamped the reward system, vendors sold bags. I think up to 20 slot. I believe your rank gave you access to better bags. So what I'm asking for isn't new.
