I was so disappointed when I bought the Ultra Pack for POF and in LOP the fractal additions are missing ... So I also advise everyone who wants something like this to buy the Sanctuary Pass. All the others are just downgraded LA. However, I am someone who only uses the pass. It's nice to have everything close together and I like the aesthetics. Also, in LOP I never had the case that someone put their fun boxes in vendors or something while I experience that in LA all the time xx.

I Wouldn't mind having more armor pieces that really push these designs as I'm struggling to create specific looks in the game and I'd like these as options. Some more options to really push the fantasy of my character's design. We have some pieces of armor that hide other pieces of armor, so having one that hides the backpiece as well could be nice. Especially as my design tastes in the game change from hyper flashy to simple on occasion. > > > > There's no need for it to take up both slots. There are already some skins which hide others, like the light Diviner Helm or Dry Bones Hood which hide any shoulder armour you've got equipped or light Flame Legion Vestments (chest) which hide your leg armour. (I'm sure there's heavy and medium skins which do this too, I just can't remember any.) > > > > So if Anet wanted to make a one-piece hood and cloak which covers your head, shoulders and back they could make it an item for any of those 3 slots and have it hide whatever you've got equipped in the other two slots. That would mean you'd still be able to use the other armour pieces for stats, they just wouldn't be visible. (And since all 3 of those slots can be hidden anyway I assume it would be possible to do that.) > > I want a Cloak. Cloaks are a bit different to capes since they wrap around the wearer a bit more than what we have. here https://jogwanguk.artstation.com/projects/x5gbR We don't have armor that does that. Nothing that wraps around like that. Or this https://en.wiki.tribalwars2.com/images/a/a6/Paladin_big.png . See how its under the shoulder armor? Or this https://i.pinimg.com/originals/fe/10/96/fe109640e53e8b389cb3a32c2e15641a.jpg This sort of thing can't be replicated. The closest we've got is the Ebon shoulders which don't quite cut it. They're nice and I do like them, but it doesn't allow me to simulate a cloak. Especially not having a large fur cloak. Just doesn't get the results I want. Ohh like that. Oh yeah, that would be something different that I would definitely appreciate. Even if I already see the clipping-fest xD. But, that we already have enough in GW2 and many do not mind. The only problem I see with it is that something like that would probably come as a costume rather than armor. Anet's armor skins have a habit of being designed as a whole and then just being 'cut off' so they count as armor (which is why I acoid a lot of armor). Something I would hate, as I strictly refuse to buy costumes just because Anet values quantity over quality.
  4. Why not do like other MMO's that have introduced other classes or something and were introduced with a certain LVL and requirements to create? They were then treated as normally created characters and all the pre-stuff was pinned on them. I mean, with logic or common sense has Anet's lore and many decisions anyway not to do. (Just recently learned that they deny a thing because the Griffin would allegedly be too heavy, but giant Norns and Charr can do that without problems ...) I'm not a big fan of the Tengus I see in the game, but I'd be curious to see how we could them designe in the charcreator. However, I also strongly doubt that something like that would come. Because besides all the lore stuff, I see the biggest problem in the customization of armor and everything. When you hear how many things are rejected because of clipping, but then in-game 80% is clipping anyway I do not want to know what a mess Tengus would be ...
  5. It should be said, however, that you only get this once per character. If you want to farm gold, meta-events are much more profitable.
  6. Personally, I would consider it a 'endgame'. I myself have always used it as soon as I had enough money to lvl more characters. But besides that, I don't see the point in crafting early in the game as it can be very cost intensive as you can never scrape enough mats together that early. https://gw2crafts.net This is the best site to effectively lvl a profession and there you can see that many professions will be very costly, especially lvl400-500, so I would advise to first lvl only professions that you need for your class for ASC gear, if you plan to run fractals.
  7. I used to have an Ele that was completely designed for fire combo fields. I regularly killed vets and even champs with it in Core and HOT. But since I started running raids and high fractals, I just used meta builds to onehit mobs as well, but without having to make sure I positioned myself correctly. That's why I haven't used combo fields for years now. It was rather to avoid these more and more because some things overlapped strangely. Idk how that works nowadays.
  8. Can i ask, what is a Pauldron? Googlet it and get so many results who look like stuff we already have many times in the game. Hence the question, because I can not imagine it right now.

For me, this is more of an invitation that low lvl areas will be overrun by veteran's who will take little consideration for newcomers (as it is atm already during dailies). In many areas you would have to be extremely set down, not only in LVL. I find Hesione.9412 idea much better to simply remove very low LVl areas completely from the Event-dailies.
  10. I found out that when players sit down leaning against their mount, this is a chair from the Gemshop. That would be an emote for which I would grind a collection / an achievement but not for a ridiculous shaking or stretching which I will never use anyway...
  11. > @"moony.5780" said: > I think it would be nice if player could choose if they 1 shot everything full geared or get 2-4 lvl downscaled more but get better rewards > > Why should there be better rewards because you get downscaled a lil bit in a low LVL area? oo
  12. While I started my new account and lvlt without mounts and everything, I encountered this a lot. The advantage there was that most move on as soon as they have once killed a wave of an event so that you later still had enough mobs to kill. But I've also experienced many things where I got absolutely nothing because even Vet's are absolutely no problem for many to kill in few seconds. And if they also make the first hit with the mount you have simply lost if you do not stalk these events and be always there before it starts. I had one day really bad luck, I think there were dailies for Queensdale and when an event popped up at me I could already forget it ... Even if it was a bit longer, the lvl 80er are often rushed there full rota to have to stay no second longer. After that I have a week or so no longer played because I was so annoyed ^^''.(And then I used my earned folianten and jumped straight to POF x) ) The scaling was once really good, but with HOT and now POF is everything what Core is simply in the disadvantage.

That's not Anet's fault, even if you want to make it look that way.
  14. K, maybe Norn and Charr have hollow bones according to lore so it makes sense that they can glide so easily and be carried by animals that are partly smaller than them. The lore of Gw2 has never really interested me, so I can say nothing about it.

Some of the norn and charr I see in the OP are sometimes larger and probably much heavier than griffins. > > Charr or Norn could not be larger and/or heavier than griffons, else griffons would never be able to carry them. Additionally, both races are able to use gliders for updrafts, so they can't be heavier than griffons. So it's just a matter of being able to do it in the game? Not about any logic or anything? So if the day would actually come where anet decides, Griffin can use the updrafts(Whether realistic or not, purely hypothetical), you would switch to: Okay, apparently they're not that heavy after all and can use Updrafts /shrug.

I am very interested. Here in Germany there are sites like Notebooksbilliger where you can find something like that. If I google your information, I am offered some notebooks for 599€ and below. If I enter your settings with Mac, nothing under 1k is displayed. I played for years on a Thinkpad, which cost something around 626€ at that time and where I could play GW2 smoothly on high most of the time. And that was only so expensive because I play more than just GW2. My current PC setup cost just under 800€ with 2 monitors and I can play the latest games like Cyberpunk on High-Ultra.

  18. I like all sizes. Do not want to exclude anyone and make anyone feel bad.

Quite the opposite. Especially if you only play one title like GW2, you can get really good notebooks for less than 600€. And for this price you can get even better Destop PCs.
  20. I really wonder how such thinking arises. Even as an outsider who has little knowledge about apple and all this, you can see as clearly as night who is sitting on the longer lever. In another thread I even saw that someone wrote that you can't really reach Apple, which is why they rather go after Anet and others (if I understood that correctly). But what else can companies like Anet and Co do? I personally think that Anet is doing the right thing. They should not be responsible for Apple's decisions and spend resources on this. And it's not like they're excluding Apple users. I doubt that even without support everything will suddenly go down the drain for Mac users from one day to the next. Enough time to adjust to it. Help was already offered what you can do, besides buying a new PC.
  21. So, harvesting tools where Skritts, Otters and robots mine stuff for you isn't slave work? What's the difference between pressing a button so they gater for you and pressing a button so they harvest the homeinie for you? Sure the one needs a few more key pushes, but I doubt that is so important to the tied creatures :''D. And why only creatures? There could also be magical harvesters, like in the harvesting tools. I could really imagine how the Homeinie suddenly darkens and lightningstrokes comes from the sky and mine the stuff with. I would find that pretty cool and I would even pay more than just 400gems for.
  22. This is so awesome! And the little pupper, so cute ><. Ranger is simply one of the best classes <3.

But she didn't post a new thread oo. She has replied to an old thread which in her opinion perhaps fit more to her topic or which was shown to her first in her search. The thread is from April and PalladanJenkins.9761 has replied to the TE.
