Its like blizzard would decide one day that hunter no longer has a pet. Or mage blink range gets halved. Like, no, just no. Sb5, skill that wasnt changed for 8 years, everyone knows it, everyone plays it since 2012. And now for some reason you decided to nerf it without giving anything back. Nice. Its not changing damage or recently added things, youre changing basic mechanic. So what, you admit that the game was unbalanced since the very beginning? Or youre just too lazy to make any proper changes so you just throw random things on the table and buff/nerf. Cant handle teef class design? Make IA castable once, maybe twice (ONLY if u pick certain traitline). Cant handle mirage class design? Cut one dodge (xD). Cant handle warrior class design? Make it a healbot (and also nerf some time later btw). Cant handle ele class design? Cut its damage to minimum, make it a full ham suport. Pure comedy
  2. Theres no such option because there are no hackers in this game. This game is pure, balance is perfect, cheaters dont exist.

  4. Ele vs immob druid is one of the most annoying fights. Is it winnable? Depends on enemy build, but yes. Although in most cases, its just a draw. If dudu goes full ham into power - you win If dudu goes pampers on with healing stats - its a draw, he deals no damage, you cant get him down, the only thing that he can do is annoy you to death If dudu goes condi or some stupid tank hybrid - its the worst case. If you dont run enough cleanses, you might eventually die. But if you do, its probably draw, he wont stack enough condis to burst you, and you wont get enough window to spike him between immobs. Tempest should be okayish with how tanky it is atm, core...just dont. If you have problems on weaver, then dont even try it. To play proper core ele you need to master this class, because its state is so underwhelming. Weaver - dont go FA, it sucks vs tanks. LR d/fc is one of the best options, lots of dodges/rushes and ranged options. The second option is water weaver, lots of cleanses, just dont spam it randomly and you shouldnt get stuck in immob ever, making pressure with it is a matter of learning limits. The last one is fireweaver - i wont tell you anything here. If you want to play this stupid spec, go find your own way, i never did and wont ever support this build. There are also things like d/d, but its a personal choice of build. Tl;dr - annoying matchup, if you know what u r doing and enemy is good, it should be a draw in 90% of the cases. Have fun.

Since dmg nerf you can play any spec you want and be anyhow viable. Maybe you wont do much (or to be more precise anything) but at least you wont die in a second. I guess thats the whiteknights definition of diversity. Id add to that list struggling mezmers with whatever they still can play. Eles got after so long time a viable Weaver spec but ofc some kiddo popularized condi version for nohands so ANet in order to nerf it, pretty much deleted whole sword spec, (meanwhile also FA) and gutted LR - similar story to warrior, welcome to the support club. Aaand ofc holy necro grail, which has both power and condi versions, core and reaper working, scourge abit backsitting. So yeah, current meta is not about looking for whats good, its about looking for what was omitted, wasnt nerfed to the ground and can be abused to infinity and even beyond (eg. renegade, grenades, SA traitline, decap druid, support warrior and tempest, core necro with Lich Form).

Immobilize on most classes is fine, kinda annoying on tempest, but it is what it is. The problematic one is ranger, especially druid. This spec is so fucking stupid, so often ppl build it so that it does nothing except spamming immobilize. Lb4, then immobilize and decap watching enemy burn CDs to get out of roots. Then he gets to the circle and you begin INCREDBILE matchup of immobilize and no damage, cuz u run mender amulet - so basically a draw. And you want gw2 to compete with other MMOs PvP modes xDDD Ill give u an example of how to deal with things like this one (t=20s): Tendril, roots enemy, cant be cleansed - you have to kill it (ofc in gw2 we can cleanse, but we all know how it works lol), it has lots of hp, small cooldown, pretty much disables meele classes. Rings a bell? I guess so. You know what big brother Bli$$ard did with it? First, they nerfed it because everyone knew it was ANNOYING. And then they deleted it from the game. And no, thats not because its different MMO, its because this kind of mechanic is just boosted. But I guess our community whiteknights see this as 'build diversity'. Ridiculous.

The ele profession should become more of an ele and less of a support Ele is so disgustingly underpowered and even more so since you removed our beloved crowd control damage (besides LR, but it also got nerfed by 33% dmg), FGS isn't even close to being "Elite", Glyph of Elementals _(which should be equivalent to Flesh Golem)_ is a joke and doesn't even turn the tide of a battle in a 1 versus 1 situation. All that we have left of this profession is anti-fun support build which isn't very ele-like if you ask me.
  14. Game is okay, company is wrong. I dont see any possible way for returning balance and fun to PvP as long as gw2 is being run by ANet. Theres basically no future and 'happy ending' with those ppl, started good with vanilla, each expansion is just worse and worse, making more mess. Compare it to gw1, 3 expansions, each was adding entertainment while maintaining balance. Wish we had those ppl, because what we have now is: new expansion hits, NOTHING changes in PvE (you just change location, finish story in 1 day, and then mindless meta farming), in PvP we basically all jump to new specs cuz theyre OP, then after X months they nerf them to the ground while randomly buffing older specs, so we jump back to them, then they randomly nerf old specs (eg. /wave @ chrono), and then starts random buffing/nerfing whatever, some specs are totally not usable, some are buffed to the level of holo or atm renegade, rest is average. And WvW is still alive thanks to the ppl, cuz company did n o t h i n g for last X years (and no, warclaw is not even close to doing sth xD) Its like giving math problem to a kid that doesnt know basic math rules and telling him to solve it. Hes gonna divide by 0, you tell him he cant do that. He is multiplying numbers before parentheses with those in completly skipping order, you tell him it doesnt work like that. And so on and so on. Its a mess, jump from one OP thing to the other till expansion hits, then we will see what true chaos means.

In the beginning, theres a slight chance that devs thought condis are going to be sth like 'additional damage, additional utility (eg. chill)' etc. Especially when you look at core classes, even necro was often going power. But as usual, ppl then noticed that hey - condis are OP, why would you even need to go for power, when you can go full condi and get so much passive damage? And so it started, age of easy2play builds, tank stats, passive damage, in some cases there was even spike (which should be available only to power, condis are DoTs). >Why are condition builds always the problem childs.
