i did the same with core ele, managed to reach plat, but my build isn't nearly as fun to play In fact it is some boring shit, it's only fun when high plat players chase you forever not believing they couln't kill the poor core ele with all their cds great gameplay btw, I'm not good as you, not even close, you're on point with all you blast and field mechanics, just great

6 -8 month and we'll have 9 broken builds for at least 6 month. Everybody will forget about 300 icd traits and the playerbase will grow again due to expansion and steam release. It's one giant fucking bandaid, but it'll work for a while. I'm not even sure the game will get paat 10 years with some significant updates, so i don't think they are that worried.

The traps do need something like 5 secs cd atleast in pvp I know dh has one of the highest winrates in the game for quite a while, a class flying under the radar for 6 months at least. Now team USA made it pop and a lot of ppl are playing it it's going to be nerfed, you gatekeeping it or not

And this is ok It's ok if you are not complaining about build diversity And if you are aware most builds you are using are tailored for ATs or in other words, organized gameplay where you can rely on your team. And not ranked. There are plenty builds that are not listed in metabattle that are better for ranked than the ones there.

Im enjoying my bunker core ele There is no build diversity problem, there are lazy people copy pasting and not even reading the builds they are using Can my core ele go higher than 1550, probably not cuz it has no dmg and relies on other ppl mistake trying to 1vX a build that is useless and give me value

And honestly, those trapper builds are annoying to play against, but most of them not necessarily op Weaver is in a weird spot, maybe you can see some play from lightning rod ans Fresh Air again with all those rounds of thief nerfs I think mesmers will be ok after one more round of nerfs across the board. I played chrono for a bit and the level of possibilities you have with split time is kinda insane and would require some time to master it to compete in high level, so you won't see many mesmers out there. I don't want any easy to play mesmer builds, they get out of control very quickly

People don't theorycraft, they just copy paste builds from metabattle and godsofpvp. They have so little understanding of the builds they're using that don't even tweak it to play against a heavy condi or power comp. Those website are primarily rate their builds based on ATs, while 98% people are playing just ranked. Ranked oriented builds may not see the light of the day in those sites unless some well known player starts playing it on their streams Build diversity is not the problem, problem is 1-2% of players are feeding the community with builds, once they find the best build for their classes they stop theorycrafting.

Talking about build diversity in a community where 90% of the players copy paste builds from a website and barely read the traits is weird. More so if you consider those websites have their meta set by ATs and note solo queue which most ppl getting builds there are going to play

Patch is ok I'd have nerfed EE blindness instead of dmg. And removing amulets ia always kinda meh.

Dunno I dont think the nerf is that bad I would have nerfed explosive entrance to 0.5 instead of the dmg, that's actually the only change I'd have done this patch.

Pointless, since at least half of the bots are scourges, in other words they have PoF.

This build is in the "unfun to play against" category, as any other rune of the trapper build. Thing is team usa used it in a teapot championship, next day you had all the copycats playing it.
