  1. I did go to one of the Inquest terminals after saving Taimi (thank the alchemy), and I noticed an interesting tidbit. The terminal states that that the base has been operational for _**nearly 8 years**_ (seven years, 11 months, 22 days, 9 hours, (x) minutes, and 53 seconds).

I wonder if that asura city cube shape north of Istan on the map is related?

    > I'm not saying ANet shouldn't charge 2k — if people are willing to pay US$25, then great for them & the longevity of GW2. I'm saying my expectations are set by outfits and I don't think **mountfits** should cost all that much more.

    "Mountfits" :)

Although I can easily afford it without even blinking, this is exactly what I'm doing, not buying it.

No mount skin is worth $25.00 _to me_.

    > Oh, look, another thread on the internet where everyone comes in here acting like they're experts on internet and communication policy while forgetting what the internet was like pre-2015 and how all the terrible things people say will happen really didn't happen except in a few small cases. Go on, internet professionals. Tell us all how the world is going to fall apart if we have to go back to pre-2015 levels of regulation... because pre-2015 was the absolute worst, right?

    >

    > Look guy - there is nothing that says we'll have to pay more to play games. Individual ISPs haven't said whether that's their policy. Some, like Comcast, said they have no intention of doing that. I think part of what we're seeing here is a big scare campaign to make everyone think the internet is going to die. It's not. It's pulling back regulation which isn't always a bad thing.

    >

    > If companies start doing some of the stuff you guys are saying WILL happen, then I think you should argue it then. Right now that's not the world we have so stop screaming that the sky is falling.

So, not a problem to you then?

    > Or when I'm on my core-only account, I don't even call out events in map chat because of the flash mob and all their nukes. If I stumble on an event nobody is doing yet, I solo it as long as I can before the flash mob shows up. Scaling in every sense is broken and needs to be addressed.

I don't call them out either, and if someone else is around, I pretty much keep it to #1 autoattack. I really just want to get a tag in before everyone else with their raptors and AOE spam shows up while at the same time not overwhelming the event myself.

    > Some who expect it might not realize that others joining the squad won't know about this implied requirement. Why? Because many HoT+PoF owners forget that there are HoT-only or PoF-only players. Many PoF owners forget that not every PoF owner has unlocked the griffon.

    >

    > Commanders don't get a salary for volunteering to tag up and bring people along. There's no hiring manager to ensure that they have any qualifications other than having spent 100-300 gold for the privilege. It's not reasonable to expect that any particular commander will be good at leading; it's not reasonable to expect that every good leader will remember to include special requirements in the squad message.

    > While it's fair to hope that commanders will maintain a speed suitable to everyone in the squad, it's not reasonable to expect that they will do so, nor even that they'll want to.

That's a good point regarding not everyone has everything unlocked yet, one that I forget often. I've had the Heart of Thorns masteries maxed for so long now that I'm amazed that guild members are still working through things like Nulhoc Wallows and Ley Gliding.

If I forget that, I'm sure there are others too.

It really is great!

Yeah, there has been some pushing of the envelope on the RNG purchasing, but I love that gw2 is not p2w and I can pick it up whenever I want and don't have to cancel a sub **_or worry about having to pay just to play some content. _** They really hit the nail on the head with the B2P expac model and buying of cosmetics.

Right? Some people just can't help but be jerks when others are trying to be nice.

On topic, I'm thankful to Anet for 12+ years of entertainment. I hope it continues for many more years. :)

No and no. Quit making up arguments where there aren't any.
