  1. Wait.. does this mean I'd get to wear the Male version of the Scallywag armour? Oh hell yes! If that one is too much... maybe a compromise? Barbaric?
  2. yes I agree to an extent that skills should not provide high damage if you are evading at the same time. A simple fix to this could be that damage is reduced to the caster by 50% while the attack is going on. This means they will still hit you, they will still jump from target to target, however they can still be attacked with a 50% reduction in damage. Should this skill be counterable by CC? I should coco. However in the PvE setting, bosses imo need to be tough in openworld. We currently have too many open world bosses that are so easy , you can 1 them to death. Personally I have not had an issue with PvE monsters / bosses having overpowered skills.. quite frankly, they need them. This way it keeps you on the edge, knowing that you can die if you dont dodge or get out the way of the next attack.

I still don't get why two handed weapons don't have more reach then one handed in the game. > Focus melee could be interesting to see, however, there are no fitting legendary weapon skins for it. Still not keen on Spear at all, I still don't believe it brings enough to the table that the other weapons already do. As for the range, its a little borked, Warriors kick states range 300, yet it actually does 280. Ranger kick states range 270, but it actually does 380ish range. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Kick_%28warrior_utility_skill%29 https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Kick_(soulbeast) I can understand why melee weapons have the same range, if all 2h weapons had longer range than a 1h, Why would you pick a 1h?
  4. > @"Fueki.4753" said: > > @"Smoosh.2718" said: > > Focus Aura support / defence / offence > I'd rather not have even more Auras in the game. > They already are too much of an eyesore. Sorry I came off with the wrong words for this one, i meant as in a combat support role, like Warhorns function but provide buffs to those around. Would this be fun to use? probably not. It could be argued that the warrior already has this option with the warhorn (which does need some further tweeks for it to be good to use with power based mainhands. > > 1 handed range condi / power (please dont be condi its boring AF to play) > Since Arenanet makes sure ranged damaged on Warrior is subpar, these two options would automatically be subpar as well. > Since subpar weapons get ditched quickly, Pistol would bring nothing to Warrior that Rifle and Longbow cant already do. Aye they do have a track record for making warriors ranged options not the best, In PvE there is no reason not to make the ranged skills for all classes do near enough the same damage, for PvP however base vitality of the class needs to be taken into account, for PvP and WvW The Pistol mainhand should be more of a bruiser role, while the offhand maintains a burst role, one thing that would be amazing to see is Anet change skill 4 on pistol depending on what mainhand weapon you have equiped but skills 1 2 and 3 stay the same regardless of offhand (yes im taking a thief thing here, but it would essentially allow you to use the pistol in any circumstance.) Skill 4 could then become a condi attack, a CC or a power attack. Do I seriously want to see this in the game? yes I do, I even made HOPE ready for this. Too much in the game currently is screaming Pistol is warriors next weapon, which I have stated before and pointed to why I honestly believe this.. enough to spend 2,000 gold on crafting a weapon. > > 2 handed melee condi > Who is to say that a spear can't be a condi weapon? > I'm certain you would bleed a lot if I pierced your belly with a spear over and over again. > And the blunt parts of the spear could be utilized to apply cripple, daze, vulnerability and/or Weakness. > > Yes Spear could be a condi weapon, bleeding however the warrior does enough of with sword, At most spear would cause torment, unless they decided to make it a fire spear. However, Personally staff/spear/condi weapons I never enjoy using, something about them just does not feel/seem visibly pleasing.
  5. > @"GewRoo.4172" said: > Spear version of Staff is nice. Reviving Paragon would be 10/10 bc feels. I really don not want to seem like a broken record here, but what will spear/staff bring that is new that its current weapons can not already do? I mean you could argue and say its going to be a two handed melee condi weapon.. but my oh my would that be boring to play. If they make it throwable, then it does the same thing as Rifle and Long bow. Rather than thinking about what Guild Wars 1 was like, think about what the class is missing now, that it cannot currently do. This will be the most likely weapon that the warrior gets. So realisticly there are these options: Focus Aura support / defence / offence 1 handed range condi / power (please dont be condi its boring AF to play) 2 handed melee condi Will the Warrior ever get Sceptor? very hard to picture. Will Anet make spears land weapon? doubtable. Will Warrior get a shortbow? I seriously hope not, Longbow is the 'Condi' weapon Rifle is the Power People always wish for things that they remember from the past, but when they finally get it, they drop it the moment they try it again. Ask for things that are new, not for things of old. Lets face it, you wouldnt go back to your monsterous ex now would you? So why wish for something that's already been done before.

Current owners of Ipos lose nothing, future owners of Ipos perk up at the thought of additional shinies. > > Just make a mini quest/collection for each subsequent/alternate skin where you 'hone' your ability with the legendary in order to be able to use it in different ways to get the different looks. Not all legendaries come with the same benefits or cost the same to make/journey toward, so it'd be in line with the current scope of legendary attainment and it wouldn't force ArenaNet to do it for all of them. No, no more collections, that is work and if its not obvious now, it will be in the future, they dont like to do things that require work. Also the weapon never had a collection in the first place. Simple sollution, speak to 'Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs' to unlock the weapons potential. Tiny bit of Karma for it and its yours. Will this ever come to be? No it wont sadly. I'd love to be proven wrong with all the suggestions we have posted on the forums.

FFXIV boss fights actually make me want to snooze. This this mechanic, it would give complexity to the bosses in gw2, make players act quickly or be killed (say a 1-3s window to cast the taunt). The bosses we fight need to have some kind of complexity to them rather than this big circle AOE knockdown attack that seems to make its way onto every single boss. Give them frontal cone attacks, get out the way or be hit by a powerful attack that will deal 90% max health damage. Or Taunt the boss or the person with the highest power rating is targeted with an undodgable onslaught of attacks which will cause the player to be downed/defeated.

If dual pistols are added, i can see then adding Off-Hand pistol as a core weapon and the mainhand pistol as a spec. Hopefully Warrior being a 'weapons master' is the only class in the game that has all main hand weapons usable in the offhand as well (without having an elite spec to grant the other weapon). So you could say, that is the only thing that makes the warrior unique now, since every other class can provide the buffs the warrior used to provide to the party (Might being the big one).
  9. https://clips.twitch.tv/VivaciousMoldyLyrebirdSpicyBoy Tbh This is how Ive been looking at it for quite a while with PvP, the rank system means nothing, the balance is out of wack and you can abuse builds to carry your wins or make the game not fun for others. I'll do PvP ranked or unranked but I'll never see a leader board as an epeen stroker, since there is no 1v1 ranking or no 5v5 team ranking, which would actually mean something. Ranking based on how good your fellow randoms were leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. So best thing to do, play the game, have fun and don't get so hell bent on believing the ranking means something in this game.
  10. You guys seriously made me picture the aliens from toy story, "OoooOoooOOoooooh the claaaaaw" I do like its design, like the Chak Focus (that would seriously be epic if they made focus a melee weapon... puching people with an ugly chak hand?! yes yes! This could work with Ipos as well if the weapon actually came with 3 legendary skins (1 as it is, 1 without the book when drawn and one without the claw when drawn) Would allow people to go for a magic look, a demonic melee look or a summoned look.
  11. > @"Kichwas.7152" said: > FFXIV has both systems - the random PUG and the list a group and people just join method. FFXIV also has a feature of sometimes waiting 2 hours as a DPS for a dungeon queue pop. Which makes me glad players in Gw2 can change their spec on the fly.
  12. To me, AFK features are the sign of a dead game. (this is one big reason why I HATE seeing AFK farmers)
  13. One thing I'm still trying to wrap my head around, If a 3rd party user can create a system that functions well in the game and still looks good... Why can't anet do this? Would for example the creator of the mount addon be ok with their addon being incorporated into gw2? (credited in the system settings.) It sometimes boggles me as to why some things take so long to do... when its already been done by a 3rd party. One thing I'd love to see is user created armour sets to go on the gem store. (we may then see a do away of the bulky gloves that we keep seeing in every...single... armour set.(I am refering here to the gloves that seem to have 2 inches of material around the wrists))
  14. > @"Apolo.5942" said: > Nobody in PVP or WvW that needs to kite, kites at 100% move speed. > > So, what is the hold up? it is ridiculous this skill has remained with its original outdated design. Why this will never change? Because sadly the very same developer who will look at these skills believes Lich Form is fine and balanced in its current state.
  15. One thing I can not get my head around is 'Fear me' Why don't they make this skill cause taunt rather than fear? The shout still makes sense, as now you are taunting them with the words 'fear me!' as if to fear the attack the follows. Fear on warrior feels so out of place, taunt would be more fitting (and im not talking about the pathetic durations of taunts we currently have: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Imminent_Threat VS https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Forced_Engagement https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Beastly_Warden For the PvE side, it would be nice to see a boss that needs a player to have a shield, say a boss must be taunted to grab its attention, the boss will then perform a very powerful rapid undodgeable attack at that person, which will kill the player but can only be blocked. This would then give the shield purpose within the PvE enviroment. Admitivly this would mean that only classes like Warrior, Mesmer, Ranger and Revenant could do this (guardians blocks only last 1 attack) but at least then it gives classes a fleshed out role in dungeons/fracs or what ever content anet decides to do and drop shortly afterwards.

  17. STAHP! Stop trying to trigger me with this whole 'staff/spear' warrior thing. Pistol! Warrior needs a 1h range weapon, period! (The only core class to not have a 1h range weapon!)
  18. Why on earth did this take so long for me to work out... I kept thinking Digital rights management...
  19. > @"voltaicbore.8012" said: > Of course, the stock answer is "hurdurr this be an mmo, go play with others." I did! The problem is on day one, people are already afk-ing these. Started with a group of 5, 2 immediately stopped moving in the starter area (just a few things here and there to beat the afk timer, perhaps) and stayed that way the rest of the time. Start your own on LFG, with the tag no afk, if someone decides to be a rat in your party, kick them. Be heartless to them as they are heartless to making others do their work for them. I hate people who eat from the silver spoon, expecting people to do everything for them or to accept them not playing. If I personally see a player doing this, I'll block them and rename them with AFK'ER and remove them from every future party I make if they join.
  20. > @"Fenom.9457" said: > I meant if you earn it, you'd have to spend thousands of dollars just to get a few of the high end ones, I doubt many people do that. Even if they do, the point that people get this stuff to show off still stands, but like I said it isn't valid enough to mean there shouldn't be an option to turn others' visuals off Sadly Prestiege means nothing anymore, since there are some market flippers and other players who have gained thousands of gold to buy up anything they want whenever they want. Some of the richest players have over 100,000 gold. To me the effects should have only been allowed on legendary weapons and armour and never this infusion thing. If someone has a cool weapon or armour combination ( not outfits i never look at people with those on ) That I apreciate, a good armour combination is a thumbs up in my books, weapons too, to an extent. As for infusions, they always give me the same reaction as outfits 'ugh... another one'. But i guess people see 'the big thing' in different things.

" > > > > > > > Agreed. It doesn't bother me personally but it can't possibly hurt anyone to add it. Except for loss of ability to show prestige I guess, but it would only be some people turning off the most obnoxious effects, so prestige isn't a good argument The image i posted, when people stack that very same infusion it creates a FPS drop in the game to anyone who looks at them. Not only is this obnoxious, ugly and blinding but actually impacts your games performance. Should users get the option to never see other users infusions? 100% yes. Like for instance the poo blue stink lines that everyone and their gran seems to have, not only does this make your character look like it stinks and needs a wash but it begins to add to the visual noise in the game. Some characters you cant even see when they are doing animations due to the obnoxious infusions they stack together. Then we have the Queen Bee, one of the more annoying audio wise. Infusions need an option to be seen or heard by other players. I'd rather not be blinded or irritated by the constant buzzing from infusions that players decided to put on their characters to intentionally attention seek or annoy other players. Infusions annoy me more than get me excited at 'how cool they are', they should have been subtle and never obnoxious, for instance I am totally fine with the Polysaturating Reverberating Infusion (Gray) which i do use, its really subtle but creates a 'bold' look without being in your face: ![](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/a/a0/Polysaturating_Reverberating_Infusion_%28Gray%29.jpg "") What I really want is an option to disable everyone elses infusions bar my own, then users can enjoy the game without having to see obnoxious blinding effects other players purposely put on with the intention of annoying others. Will this change ever be made? probably in 3 years time perhapse.

Summon a banner bearer (like in the fractals) Who will follow you around but not attack providing an AOE buff (the banner bearer can be killed, but will provide better buffs than the current banner. Be it Boons or % increases (5% more damage, 5% more condi damage, 5% less damage, 5% more health, heal 30 hp per attack(low due to it being a passive) ect ect.)) Just dropping a banner down picking it up and droping it down again... is .. boring. At least with them having Healthbars, you'll need to focus on keeping them alive as well, as they will provide more effects / boons than the previous banner. As for battle standard, i would like to see this skill also do a 0m launch, this would allow the banner be used offensivly against downed foes or to interupt another player. Once placed this banner could provide quickness for 3s one time after first cast to all in the area.
  23. And always there is that 1 Frog with kite person who stands right on the NPC every time.
  24. Just going to reinforce my point... with a picture.. ![](https://i.imgur.com/Nb0B0vW.png "") >! also mods please dont 'warn' me again because im posting something you either dont care about or like to hear. (I made it bold so you could read it)
  25. This too is also a problem I can not stand seeing in the game... these FPS sponges. ![](https://i.imgur.com/Nb0B0vW.png "") Once again... Give the players an option to disable other players infusions before you even think about adding another one to the game!
