  1. Not likely. The All effectively restricts the possible number of EDs that would have existed during the Rite to only Six, and none of those six have a corresponding Power Set that would match the Great Dwarf's power over Stone. The closest we could get would be Primordus, which is not only a stretch power set wise but also completely counter to the Rite's purpose, and Kralk, which still doesn't line up. Branded don't just change into crystal they get reshaped into abominations. Dwarves just turned to stone, their shapes didn't change.

  3. I rarely notice damage numbers, as such I'm not inclined to think that they account for even a fraction of the screen clutter that happens in group combat.

There is NO reason not to continue adding mount skins when EOD is released, in fact Anet should release Canthan inspired skins for all mounts, and continue releasing them since mount skins are a great source of revenue. > @"Hoover.6394" said: > > @"The Greyhawk.9107" said: > > A couple of things. First off mounts were PoFs specialty. EoD needs to come up with its own. Secondly while, yes Cantha is mostly a hodge-pog of different Asian cultures, it's not a one to one comparison. Case in point: the predominant dragons of Cantha, the Saltsprays, _had wings._ > > ....and creature from GW2 could look different than GW1 version. also there can be way more type of dragon than Saltsprays hah Mea Culpa, I somehow had it in my sleep deprived brain that OP was asking for a new mount instead of just a skin. However I stand by my point about the Saltsprays. Art changes will only go so far and as such you can't just hand wave away something as big as something that previously had wings suddenly _not having them,_ especially a species as important as the Saltsprays, of which includes Kuunavang herself. Cantha does or did have other dragons but they were all more comparable to drakes then the serpentine dragons your asking for.

Plus, why not deal with Lyssa? A lot of us want to know more about what's going on with the Six. At least so long as they don't turn this Lyssa thread into Abaddon 3.0.
  7. A couple of things. First off mounts were PoFs specialty. EoD needs to come up with its own. Secondly while, yes Cantha is mostly a hodge-pog of different Asian cultures, it's not a one to one comparison. Case in point: the predominant dragons of Cantha, the Saltsprays, _had wings._

Like I said, derivatives, but not the exact same.
  9. Not inclined to think that Arenanet is going to give the DSD the exact same name as something from real world mythology. A similar or derivative name, maybe, but not the exact same.

Except it is. The Chinese New Year *IS* a Lunar New Year.

No transmute or makeover charges either. I'm sure they could add even more incentives to sub. > It works for ESO, it works for FFXIV and would be a nice steady income for the dev's so that they wouldn't have to hammer those who can't afford gems so hard. > If the sub was reasonable I would sub. I would rather sub than this daft gem system. Please G-d no.
  12. I'm not inclined to think they'll use the Skyscale as the basis for any of the dragons of Cantha.
  13. Imagine trying to promote the "Ice Protects" narrative immediately following a polar vortex that froze half the US. > @"Hypnowulf.7403" said: > I'm not given to trust the Spirits for that reason, oh—and because they eat kids. I don't like that either. Citation needed. AGAIN.
  14. I think one or two people have also brought that up on this sub-forum. Its an interesting idea but I'm not sure it'd work with how the All is supposed to function, we still need a minimum of four ED's to keep Tyria from being destroyed and I'm not currently inclined to think that a composite ED will allow us to circumvent that requirement.
  15. I'm less interested in the individual enemies and the like and a lot more interested in the out of control aggro range, I want to see the aggro range reduced near or at Core map levels.
  16. Outfits that are made up of six pieces already exist in the game, they're call armor sets and its already been explained why we get much more of the former than the latter.

It would be such a gesture of good will towards your player base. We all know Fashion Wars is a big selling point of this game, so please don't restrict it! Just have it cost silver in game if it must cost something. You can make up for the 'lost revenue' that this good will gesture would cause by adding other customization things, like player housing and furniture! You'll probably get a ton of good press (which means new players) for this move too. Please ANet, it's the right thing to do! How 'bout no.

Humans are specifically noted to have had a role in airships, and it has been noted that there are some areas in which humans are still ahead of either, including harnessing the wind for power or propulsion (something that charr and asura kinda just bypassed). It's entirely possible that humans have had some contributions in the areas of aerodynamics and how to set up control surfaces that neither charr nor asura would have considered. > > >That said, I believe it HAS been explicitly stated that part of what the scrappers were scavenging was asura magitech from the crashed Pact fleet, so there is some asura in there. In the form of charr scavenging and repurposing asura technology, to be sure, but it is in there. > > But we are are talking about the technology specific to the scrapper, not an entire helicopter or airship - the gyros or for example the hammer being able to harness lightning. And as you say... *that* part is Asuran magitech. So my point still stands. > > Whether Charr built the frame of an airship, Norn made the wooden deck and Humans attached little flags to it because they where "helping" is irrelevant. "Attached little flags"? Are you being deliberately obtuse or...something else? The Krytan Humans developed the most important part of the airships: the dirigible balloon. You do know that asura are fictional, right? I think you and a few others here have been forgetting that fact.
  19. Actually not a fan of most of those things but I hardly think they are at all comparable to remaking only select pieces of GW1.
