They shouldn't just get a "slight" increase in drop rate, they should get the "raid" treatment. Make it purchasable for 1000 casino coins + 20 gold and change the drop rates to what the ascended boxes form Tequatl & worm are, this way we would have another gold sink and players have a better incentive to actually engage in the content for more than just "the first playthrough".

TBH these should be turned into outfits, no point throwing away all this potential.

  3. Sadly not that much to appreciate here, the skins themselves are great but the ranged weapons completely lack fitting sounds / projectile animations. I had to craft HOPE in order to get a futuristic vibe from my gun becuse the Inquest Mark II pistol somehow still operates on black powder... V.V

It's sad to see how the lack of effort on this part is ruining otherwise great weapon skins.

    >

    > That would make for some strange outfits as they would change looks depending on your armor and character. Yes, thinking of embiggening and miniature tonics.

We already have outfits which change the base height of the character like the Raiment of the Lich and these tonics are basically just reskinned character models anyway. Some of the glider skins are also vastly different from the base one so thats nothing new either. Just auto deactivate the embiggening / miniature one for sPvP / WvW. /done

Them being turned into outfits would have multiple advantages like the ability to use mounts which is something people have asked for many times.

  5. The the equipment preview window and how things look ingame oftentimes differs vastly from each other which can make it quite difficult to (for example) chose the right dye. The reason for this is the lighting which has a sicnificant impact on how things turn out at the end. To solve this problem I'd suggest adding various lighting options to the preview windows.

    > It specifically mentions tonics: "What about Tonics? We didn’t forget about them! The number of tonics to be converted to the wardrobe was pretty daunting, but rest assured that work is well underway. As soon as we’ve made sure everything’s in working order, we’ll add a fifth slot for endless tonics." So this is on the table. :D

Please turn the following combat tonics into outfits like you did with the town clothing:

    - Potion of Ascalonian Mages

    - Infinite Watchknight Tonic

    - Infinite Watchknight Mk II Tonic

    - Endless Kodan Tonic

    - Endless Miniature Tonic

    - Endless Embiggening Tonic

    - Endless Fury Combat Tonic

    - Endless Chaos Combat Tonic

    - Endless Olmakhan Tonic

**Don't** turn them into novelty items. O~O

There could still be new elites with each subsequent episode, people have been asking for core tyria e-specs for a long time now.

Nooooooooooooooooo, I really hope this doesn't include combat tonics. It would be a lot better if they were turned in outfits, this way we could dye them and use them in combination with our mounts.

    > is this really true? how rare are the drops?

Yes but it doesn't drop from enemies, there is an item set called "[Triumphant Hero's armor](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Triumphant_Hero%27s_armor "Triumphant Hero's armor")" which can be bought with items you obtain through the various reward systems and the only thing you need to do in order to get these items is maintaining a participation rank of 3 or higher which can be achieved by killing veteran creatures (there are also weapons, trinkets and a legendary backpack).

But that was never the argument so what's your point?

    > @"Dante.1763" said:

    > Thats the point of this bloody thread, for the players who want to craft them

That's not the point of the thread. Read the OP it's not about "crafting", it's about not having to play a gamemode you "don't really like, or find boring, or don't want to play because of bad experiences with players" which you obviously don't have to if you can just buy the thing on the TP unlike with all the other stuff that requires GoB.

    >

    > outside of the maybe 1% of players who purchase legendary weapons you need a GoE to obtain one.

The ratio of people who make their Gen.1 legendary vs. those who buy them is definitely not 99 to 1, judging by the conversations ingame it's more like the opposite but that's beside the point now isn't it? You can skip GoE entierly therefore you nont need one in order to obtain the associated legendary items.

And yet the same thing applies to these weapons so my point still stands.

You need it if you want to craft one but you don't need to craft one in order to get one. Everything else only requires GoB (except for raid / sPvP armor which requires neither) meaning you can get every legendary in the game without ever having to deal with GoE.

Well good thing people generally don't feel that way. The PvP cancer hell (mainly the lack of a regular DM mode) is the only reason why I don't (and never will) have the Ascension even tho it's IMO the best looking backpack in the game no contest (well that and the fact that it doesn't really go well with the sublime mistforged suit but then again no BP aside from the wild magic one really does).
