  1. It just occurred to me Dragon Bash, if they bring it around every year, is Wintersday for the Summer. It's 6/25. It's in Hoelbrak, lots of snow. The stampedes are in the surrounding, snowy areas. I'm sure I'm late to figuring it out, but I was proud of myself. :3

I should go post in the 'what achievement are you most proud of' thread. :#

I'm mostly the same way. WvW, big metas, and probably most HoT content, and maybe 75% of PoF, I'm zoomed out more (including living world content). Old Tyria, towns, etc, I'm zoomed in.

    > Yeah, theres a few episodes where you need to do -everything- like bitterfrost. Ive completed War Eternal, and I have four achs left over. But I do not remember if the skyscale achs counted. You get a zillion achs from it. Also, hidden achs doesnt display in the list for achs needed and they still count.

And it's possible there are some hidden achievements in War Eternal that count that would avoid me having to do those 2-3 story ones that I don't care for, but with my go-to source being off the grid these days, I haven't found a new place to go learn about them. :(

I risked logging out. I did all the achievements I 'think' I could do, including repeating the one for a full 15 AP.

I was seeing a dev post via massivelyop article that said it will unlock a new mystic forge recipe for everyone, so I can't imagine we need to be logged in for that?

    No, I meant "I" was jealous I didn't get one. "I" got a rock. :#

  6. I have one, and have tried to impose my own etiquette for myself. If I decide to hover afk somewhere, it's usually for a short period of time, and I only do it where I want to be close enough to something before it starts, but there's a lot of mobs around, and/or I'm just not that familiar with a good place to stand afk before it starts. Like this new WB event, I don't do (and I'm going to make up a name, b/c I don't know how to spell it) the Hrathi Highland's 'Muggy Uggy' event much, nor Taida Covingsomething in BC. When I get there, I get up as high as I can and hover over where it will start. I'm pretty high up in the sky. I suppose if there are 30 others where I'm at, we'd block out the sky, and that's a bummer.

I never do it in places like FE, where I wait around up on the square that you can jump up on (I still don't cheat and use a mount to get on it, I like using the 'hop' method I learned from someone else years ago). I usually have my healing set on and will afk before the event in Water where I'm regenerating. Worst case scenario, I die while afk and someone res's me. You won't ever see me do it loitering in town, or really any mount for that matter. If I don't need to be using the mount, I'm generally not on one. I rarely use them playing up new characters through maps even. Running from place to place is still fun for me. I will use them on HoT/PoF (always think of H.R. Pufnstuf when I see HoT/PoF, H.P. HoTnPoF) maps much more often - I'm not crazy. :)

But besides all that, I wouldn't be opposed with them coming up with a new layer of visibility to hide people on mounts, or make us look smaller to people with a filter on while we're in the air? Anything like that.

  7. There are quite a few outfits I bought thinking I'd wear more, and don't. At least a half-dozen there. I want them to work so much, I buy ones that are 'close' to what I want, I think. :/

I'd say copper fed, but while I only use it on blues these days, and arguably should just bank it to free up a shared slot, I did buy it when it dropped, and got a 'lot' of use out of it. So nothing really wasted there.

I've bought very few mount skins, and I use the ones I bought, like the humming bird. All my characters have a humming bird. It's awesome.

I'm crossing my fingers it's mostly used for things like you mention, or perhaps role-players getting together to do something. My quality of life in GW2 is 'greatly' improved when I get to participate in big things with all the leaders of the world that like to lead things like that. :)

So I think that chart is wrong. Based on the world bosses I did today, I have very different combinations of essences than that table says I should have.
