  1. @"Anatolian Turk.4057"

What's written on message/event; top-right corner in green?

    Maybe some prerequisite?

Assuming "green spark" - green spiral; usually points player to the next map.

"Green star" - enter story instance.

  2. 2 different classes will have their differences. To justify a skill (pet merge in this case), its best to address the skill and class itself than comparing it with another class.

A balancing topic more or less; and there won't be balance until all class is identical :confounded:.

    > a warrior specced for fullz erg that has to use every utility to land it?

    >or

    > that ranger that can do the same, swap to second pet and go usain bolt?

The SB did the same(?), swapped to second pet (= use every utility to land it).

    > Do you all use a spec close to the FB Healer on SnowCrows? Or might it be better for fractals to swap in some Minstrel or Magi instead of all Harrier since we get a concentration boost from potions?

Harrier is sufficient and offers better boon time, up to 95% (with fractal buff, excluding concentration utility). Minstrel will be 2nd best option imo. Offer lesser boon duration, tradeoff for survivability. Boon duration is important and what gives the class identity , without boons there's no difference with an odinary class tossing heals.

Personally, prefer harrier over minstrel. Can be used in raid etc but same can be said for minstrel if its accepted.

    Edit :

Alternatively, you can purchase Mordant Inscription and Insignia of the Harrier from TP (unlike Vipers they're not acount bound) to alter your asc equipment's stats to harrier.

Accessories from Desolation & Vabbi hearts. Only Sandswept Island(PoF) accessories offers harrier among all the LS aside raid/fractal.

That means the almost 11000 HP from my mount, plus over 28k health of my necro (with trailblaizers armor), down in a fraction of a second. That's not normal.

    > Anyway, this makes me want to rebuild my druid to a pew-pew-u-die-soulbeast solely for wvw xD

Fall damage, just enough to kill the mount while its hp was low  seen it happen.

  5. Q1 : Talk to Kelvei; the asuran infront with Ad Infinitum, after completing Unbound to obtain "an item (book)" to start Stage 4's collection.

    Q2 :

    > do i need to the "the defeat the misplaced steam ogre event too??

Optional, if I remember correctly. Interact with an object after obtaining the "hammer" at one of the platform's corner.

*Take the Archdiviner's Mallet from his remains at the top of the Cliffside Fractal. Jump into the middle of the exploded Thaumanova Reactor in Metrica Province to charge it.* Open the forcefield with the matrix key after charging it (Fire Ele) event as Metasynaptic.1093 said.

  6. No problem killing a ranger, no problem playing one either. However, for a necro to kill a ranger does have a lower chance of success, especially from range. Necro is not perfect and its about rangers advantage here(why starts at range with Warclaw available nowadays?). Find it funny, players can tell another a ranger's skill sequence/rotation etc but fail to anticipate for dodge (either the rotation is wrong; or they're doing it wrong).

Edit : With the recent buff, Reapers are considered strong but if the player is getting kited easily, give traits and skills picked a look.

  7. Not sure if quickness should work, it will help with the healing but at the same time it cuts down the condi immunity :worried:. Not getting 1k+ heals per tick as some describe either with harrier+monk runes. The cd is tad too long, but do see problem or possible exploit if its too short (scourge pull the downed together for a mass rally). Weak overall.

    > I'm really excited for this! Quite pleased with their rate of production with armors as of late (2 full sets just in the second half of this season, plus some standalone chest and leg pieces), and it's also nice to have something that's a considerable grind in the sense that it makes us play the new content a lot.

:+1: on this, always better than outfits. Hope it consumes Mistonium as currency (nothing to spend it on after the amour collection).

    > Yeah if stab at least worked for the wind pushbacks. That would be nice.

Will help, but there's also a chance for an unfortunate event where the boon falls off and get blown off the ship . Another nice addition I could think of is to give important AoE warning grounds a more distinguished colour. Had this experience of Skyhammer from Instability: Mists Convergence aimed on the ship. It had all other warning overwritten with its bright orange. The game needs more colour palette with it's visual warning. Not a solution but playing with Post Processing Low helps(there's only None, Low and High).

Eg. Spellbreakers - Winds of Disenchantment will be transparent with "None", lightly toned with "Low", Solid with chance to block visuals with "High".

  10. Have to admit the standard set to complete SR is high. Not impossible to complete but it require the players to know the mechanics. Eg. Players might get other fractals done with no/less experience but SR can prove to be a challenge. With certain instability as OP mentioned will set the bar higher. Even simple instability eg. Sugar Rush will speed up the Eye Traps and the Wind's tempo.

To be fair, it's a pain dealing S.Awkwardness with any space constrained scenario(or majority/full melee in group). *Can't stress how important not to get blown off the ship for the final part.*

Following that, SR T4 have 3 instabilities at play  *huzzah*. The mobs spawned doesn't reset according to the Bosses set either, unlike its lower tiers (a feature?). *Easier to just /gg after Crowe spawned than to deal with the mobs carried forward from her previous 4 cannon pre-event. Just need to deal with 5 minnions + Crowe after the reset, with no/less minnion to deal with till her first teleport.*

    Edit : typos.

  11. Unity wasn't the worse tbh. It's just overkill to use it but it's not a broken skill. The new Glyph of Stars have its uses but its very weak. It can cover a good distance, but the effect is stationary grounded and the caster will be channeling. Not easy having players to sit on a 7second "well". The caster is vulnerable while channeling(to interrupt etc). A situation for it to be used in CA is rare as well, the druid probably will do better healing with CA's skill than wasting astral energy channeling it. Might be useful to rally players in WvW, but that's also if the situation allows it.

Edit: The cd is a tad too long for its worth as well.

    > Poison master doesn't have an ICD.

    >

    > It uses your condition duration and condition damage despite your pet applying the condition when not merged. Because the poison counts as the ranger applying it, it also procs predator's cunning. Of note, your pet proccing refined toxins does not proc predator's cunning. It also uses pet condi duration and dmg. I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional that these two traits function differently.

The trait uses the players condi dmg and duration, during merged and unmerged even before the patch. Not sure if it procs Predator's Cunning previously though.

    > So 8 seconds base duration. If the ranger has 100% poison duration, your pet (or SB F3) applies 16 seconds of poison with poison master. Eagle and Hawk have that 6 (4.75) second CD on F2.

    Condi damage with Sbow/ D+T

    40-50% from Bleeding.

    15-20% from Poison.

    15-20% from Burn.

    Remaining % from miscellaneous.

Not possible to cap poison duration, not worth the trade. Best rune option would be Rune of the Afflicted (w Poison Master rough estimation 14.5sec; 4.4k dmg in total)

    > That's a lot of poison but you have to give up wilderness survival. I'm going to mess with it in PvP. I'm not sure if this makes condi ranger/unmerged SB more viable in PvE.

Poison Master is under Wilderness Survival ?. There are stats, runes and sigils restrictions (especially expertise) in sPvP. Unlikely will have any big impact for unmerged SB in PvE, losing condi dmg and duration (maybe a small buff to core ranger/druid if they're interested  but same can be said to merged Sb).
