  1. i think the main thing alliances will be able to do is relocate solo players and smaller guilds to servers to give them adequate population. it gives them more control to balance out population. as long as they stack the 3 biggest alliances together, like they do with the current systems servers, i think things will remain relatively the same.

Certainly, the damage nerfs should be reevaluated in spots as well. staff eles don't need to be babied. they got their damage nerfed and other classes can output similar damage with some actual team support, thats all. oh and yes, superspeed kind of does nerf ele cuz they rely solely on long cd aoes, namely meteor shower. other classes have way shorter cds so they can recoup their losses somewhat.
  3. despite the nerfs it still does the most damage out of all the core weapons. apply weakness and spam autos.

  6. everyone is so doom and gloom about the megapatch, but it was the lack of follow up that was the suicide move. the one shot meta was garbage and anyone who wants to return to it probably relied on cheap builds. sustain meta isn't much better but at least noobs can't roll some brain dead build and gank you with zero brain effort. now they run around and deal no damage, better then them getting kills imo.
  7. wvw players will complain they don't have new stuff, and complain when it comes. i'm with anet don't give wvw anything new just let it be.
  8. everyone crying for dhuumfire nerfs when it first hit the scene was the peak of this game. still have that tear bucket.
  9. class stacking against an organized team is meme but with a bunch of randos it can be op
  10. a couple of people with dozens of multi boxed accounts could q a map and do nothing, not only preventing real players from playing but preventing any progress for the server.

  12. it doesn't take an entire team to balance pvp and wvw. thats ridiculous. all it takes is a couple of dedicated players from anet that play the game often and know where all the weak spots are.
  13. all they gotta do is tweak cd and radius. rev spirits are the worst, they have huge aoe _and_ really low cd.
  14. you know what would be cool, is if they introduced mechanics into the algorithm that attempted to balance things out. one example is that if you go on a 5 game losing streak, you get a team next match that is slightly biased for you to win. not by much, and possibly increase it each game after. same thing but reverse if you go on winning streaks. they might already do this idk. people mention top stats often, although they don't mean much in reality most times. that said, i don't think it would be too much of a big deal if you are set to lose -15 or over, for every top stat you get this goes down by one. i'm sure there are other examples, but the point is to create a more level playing field without too much hand holding.
  15. scourge was handled poorly cuz the base design was borken for wvw. dunno if they have any play testers or if they're listening to them, but i really hope they do for the next expac. hopefully they do a real fix to the spec.
  16. sb5 was always broken but the recent change made the skill almost unusable. i think someone a while ago mentioned a range nerf instead, that might help idk.

  19. lock classes with a minute left on timer in map but allow build changes is the best compromise i can think of.
  20. don't go to tc their pugs don't follow comms or even play meta builds
